Looks like most phones people are getting in is the 6. This may explain why Im stI'll at the 24th since I'm wanting the 6 plus
Which iPhone 6 Plus did you order (color/size)? I ordered a 128GB Space Gray Plus on the 18th and I'm at a 10/31 ship date. Yours was only 4 days ahead of mine so I'm wondering if that means mine may ship with the supposed shipment of phones coming in today.
Nothing shows a shipping date except my original email.
Should I be checking somewhere else? I am checking this information at the "Check your order status" on the VZW website.
Yes.
None of these flights here: http://flightaware.com/live/iphone/ are going to the Verizon facility and they don't display any of the Fed EX flights.
Based on the link I displayed it appears Verizon only got iphone shipments on the 19th, 24th,25th,26th of September..October 1st and October 2nd. This lines of perfectly with the shipping waves we've been seeing. And can explain the gaps between the 29th and the 1st, when we were seeing no movement at all.

From my understanding, based on others experiences, when the ship by date magically disappears, that means you're about to be processed and your device shipped.

iPhone 6 Plus, silver 64G. Pre-ordered on the 12th around 10:30 am
The UPS flights on flightaware are shipping to Louisville, Kentucky. That is the location of their "WorldPort" and the natural location for any iphone 6 shipments to enter to the US. It doesn't necessarily mean they aren't for Verizon, UPS will distribute them further along once they arrive there. Its possible the phones shipping to customers from Pennsylvania arrived there via UPS. It's hard to know exactly which phones are on which flights, if there is any correlation at all. Its just a good sign seeing many flights from both carriers being delivered.
This may be true, however, it appears that Verizon is using FedEx for all of their iphone shipments, even ones coming from outside of the country. It could also very well be that the shipments are redirected and instead of going to Kentucky are redirected to Memphis. As I said previously, the only real way to really know what is the case if someone reports the routes theyre seeing via their tracking info.
And since this is all best guesstimate, I could very well be wrong.
Are you going to get a case for it? If so the question comes down to whether you can live with a white face.
Yes they typically are shipping Fedex. As a whole its nice to see so many flights coming to the US, as it will help the entire backlog of phones no matter the service provider which helps us all. It's especially good with the fact that many are staying right in China to support their orders, (2 million in the first 6 hours and preorders aren't even "open"). UPS already has more flights showing up for tonight, and its been between 7-9 each night recently. Thats a lot of phones:![]()
So if you guys are getting your ordereds placed the week of the 12th this week maybe us that ordered week of 19th get them shipped next week

if you don't have a reference number (confirmation #) go to the verizon store page and open a chat... give the chat rep your order number and info and they can give you the confirmation #
You guys must be luckier than me. I've talked to 2 reps and both told me there is no such thing as a confirmation or reference number. *sigh*

I dont want to pee in your cheerios here, but I wouldnt get too excited. There are still plenty of us on the 12th that have nothing. Not to say we are in line in front of you, just saying that I dont think there is a method to any of this anymore. So, you might get lucky, but I am more mad every day because I used to think the same way 2 weeks ago haha
But, you might have better luck than me. If I didnt have bad luck I wouldnt have any luck at all. So good luck to you! I think its all just based on model, color, etc.
It is. If you ordered 128 or 16 I bet they will mostly come together even if jimbo ordered his 10 days before Lucy. They could care less when jimbo ordered. Also if Lucy's card is cleared quicker. More than likely the one paid for will be there first. Money money money.
It depends on what you want to prioritize. From a statistical perspective, it's actually more efficient from a service time view to have smaller packages because they tend to have less aggregate service time than large packages, so more get through the queue (like a network, or a transportation system) than fewer large packages. (Queuing theory at work here.) That's why large packets are prioritized at the back of the network queue, to let all the smaller ones go through first.two large shipments a month makes sense, condenses your logistic costs. This may increase to weekly as Christmas approaches.
