When did they update the shipping date? I ordered the same thing the same day just different color. Wondering if it was recent, or shortly after you ordered.

When did they update the shipping date? I ordered the same thing the same day just different color. Wondering if it was recent, or shortly after you ordered.
Richgirl, it makes sense. I usually don't put much stock into what reps say, even managers, although there stock is a little higher. Again, not because they are stupid/dumb/robots...nada, they just simply don't know. However, in this case, there IS good evidence that we should see a strong push for phones over the next few days. This makes sense with the planes, and the OCT 2nd rumor. That **SHOULD** knock out the rest of the 12th and go into the 16th or so for order dates. I am guessing** this next big wave, if true, could get everyones phones delivered up to maybe the 21st-28th? Next big wave for the 14th, if true, would knock out the rest of months and into next, I assume.

There is actually a few flights coming into MEM that just left China, and 1 going to Anchorage. So, there might be 3-4 different airplanes coming in with iphones.

I am a business customer with Verizon and ordered 6+ 128gb on Sept 12 at about 3pm eastern time and just got off the phone with a rep and was told it hasn't moved yet and to expect the October 21st delivery date so I cancelled it because they are everywhere around me. I have found 64 and 128's in stock at Best Buy and Apple stores. I really wanted to buy off contract anyway.
Finally shipped
I received an email from Verizon this morning saying my iPhone 6 Plus has shipped. My credit card showed the charge on Monday as pending. Then it showed it as being charged yesterday morning. And today it finally made it out the door. My original ship date was 10/27/14.
Only disappointment is it is scheduled for delivery on Monday.

Received delivery information, Fedex 2-day. Arrives on Monday.
Called *611 to complain that it clearly states overnight shipping on the site. CSR initially tried to tell me that this is an option on the portal (I don't recall this being the case) apparently it is listed as a $12.99 option but you won't be charged for it...Because that's super intuitive
They ended up crediting my account $20 for the inconvenience. I'd still rather have it on Friday.
Think of it this way - how much is Verizon saving by shipping your phones via 2-day instead of overnight? Hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Everyone, go get your money. They are making crazy money off of your service plans, its the least they can do.

Ordered 9/12 @ 5:30AM EST - iPhone 6+ 16GB Space Gray. Initial Ship by date was 10/14. This was bumped to 10/10 a few days after order was placed.
Received message it was sent for processing on 9/30. Card charged 10/1. Tracking # on 10/2. Arrives on 10/6.
I'll keep monitoring this thread and checking the spreadsheet. Be sure to update your info on the sheet even after you received it, this helps others.

Glad your getting your phone on Monday, but your right, it should have been Friday...If I don't get overnight shipping I am going to do the same thing on chat and be like why wasn't my phone shipped overnight like yall said on your website, and the chat window when they helped me do the order online...I will gladly take that $20 credit if I can get one. Anywho, glad things are trying to move.

There are 3 planes coming from China, 2 going right to Memphis, B777, and a MD11 going to Anchorage, then should go on to Memphis. This is the most planes I have seen coming from China at one time with Fedex. Goes back to what richgirl said, that rumor of a huge push on Oct 2, well there are 3 big A** planes that should have a bunch of iphones on them.

two large shipments a month makes sense, condenses your logistic costs. This may increase to weekly as Christmas approaches.

It just magically starts operating on the 19th, and seems to be in line with the shipping waves weve been seeing.
In addition, now people are all of a sudden saying they've received their tracking. I think there is a 24 hour delay from when it lands, and when they actually have it processed and attached to someones account.

Long time reader, figured I would post mine in here just as a data point. Ordered a Silver 64GB+on 9/24. No movement, posted date is 10/31. Edge Program upgrade. Unfortunately for me no Apple stores near me to pick one up. Long time Android user finally done with the crap. Went through 6 Note 3's all overheated, all random reboots and dropped calls. So I figured time to drink the Kool-Aid and switch over to something I am hoping is a little more stable.

Which iPhone 6 Plus did you order (color/size)? I ordered a 128GB Space Gray Plus on the 18th and I'm at a 10/31 ship date. Yours was only 4 days ahead of mine so I'm wondering if that means mine may ship with the supposed shipment of phones coming in today.
Actually, I dont even know if the shipping date has moved up or anything. The original email from Verizon stated that it would ship by 10/24, but when I click on the status this is all I see.

None of these flights here: http://flightaware.com/live/iphone/ are going to the Verizon facility and they don't display any of the Fed EX flights.
Based on the link I displayed it appears Verizon only got iphone shipments on the 19th, 24th,25th,26th of September..October 1st and October 2nd. This lines of perfectly with the shipping waves we've been seeing. And can explain the gaps between the 29th and the 1st, when we were seeing no movement at all.

From my understanding, based on others experiences, when the ship by date magically disappears, that means you're about to be processed and your device shipped.
