The capitalized portions you need to replace with your own. So if your confirmation @ is 12345678 and your last name is KANE, when you copy and paste the url into notepad u would change the capitalized portions and it woild look like the following:

Just remember to move the ***

And when you get your results, DO NOT post it here. Previously it had ssn information and etc. Just use the key from reddit to read what its saying but as you get further into the process it will change.

Best Buy allowed pre-ordering for less than a week - I believe - 9/23-9/27.

Received the iPhone 6+ (2 of them) - 64GB in 5 days.

FYI: Our BB had plenty of stock and were selling to walk-ins when we were there.

YAY! My local Apple store has a 6+ SP 64GB in stock! Canceled my Verizon pre-order and am now waiting for it to be ready for pickup at the Apple store. :)

Yeah, I will never preorder again. This was just a dreadful experience. The wait was one thing but it was not receiving a confirmation email, no information under order status, knowing that people who ordered phones wayy after me got theirs & etc.

I was reading an interview with one of the iphone suppliers that stated that the retailers and media keeps saying its due to lack of supplies and suppliers laugh at it because it's due to retailers wanting to create chaos as a retail strategy by telling people that they're not getting their phones till Dec.

I think most of us can kind of agree with this, seeing the constant planes coming in and out of the country. Atleast 2 mil iphones entering the US every day.

All of this was so stressful + then on top of it the lady at Verizon processed my order wrong and b/c I don't feel like shipping the phone back, im getting the color that I didn't want (#firstworldproblems).

Next time I'm either gonna be at the Apple store on launch day or I'm just gonna wait till January when the price is cut in half.

Just heard back from verizon via twitter, they are saying my ship date is 10/7, not 10/3. Of course, I thanked them for their lousy customer service. iconic still shows 10/3.

It would make sense. My original ship date was 10/28. It just got bumped to 10/24. So you're only 2 days behind my original date.

Yeah.. not sure on the order cluster thing. It could be done by color and not date ordered. And it could also mean nothing at all.

On the move towards a switch but not getting new phone. Just keep this 4s. Still does its job. It's annoying knowing my order isn't a pre order so to say, but people way after me have been receiving and in store purchasing left and right. WTF Verizon? 10plus yrs and you still dixk around.
 
I have to say I am fed up with the whole process. Orderedthe 6+ at 3pm on September 12th and kept seeing friends getting phones. Then found out my order was just sitting there doing nothing and all these phones were showing up at the Apple Store and Best Buy. I finally cancelled my order and picked one up at the Apple Store. Seems like someone else said, they had my order so they kept selling at stores instead of filling Pre orders. Sad thing is Apple made me wait for an hour in line at the store with one person in front of me. Has not been a very good experience this time. But as they showed at the Apple store, they didn't care!

Also, is it possible to cancel my order and pick up a phone in store? It's just a simple upgrade and I haven't received any tracking numbers.

I would say ya. But verizon won't honor buy back trade in bs. Since didn't buy from them.

Yes. This is exactly what I just did. It took the Verizon CSR under two minutes to cancel my order, and from there I was instantly able to order it on Apple's website for same-day in-store pickup.

Agreed! I started at 3:03am ET doing a preorder with my then carrier AT&T for a 128GB SG 6+. That order went into a blackhole apparently and it took almost until the next Friday to FINALLY find out and be told tough luck, order again (corp discount orders were put thru Premier, which is a joke in and of itself).

That was kind of the last straw to push me back to VZW after a year away, so on the 18th I put thru a pre-order with VZW. Well that first order apparently had no device and plan attached to it, even after I had a preorder confirmation email (WTF). So I placed another order as directed by order support and come to find out it was somehow stuck, and they finally fixed it. I still show in process with a ship date of 10/31 so I guess I will find out at some point whether they botched that order or not.

I'll never again deal with the preorder ********* unless it's through Apple, so that means either they have EDGE available on their site or I'm paying full retail. Not that Apple.com was without it's own issues but I've never had issues once an order was placed for any launch item.

That's a new one on me. I'm a recent business undergrad and I don't recall that as a legit marketing tactic :D I would think that would just piss off the customers and drive them to other retailers, sort of like people cancelling their VZW orders and picking up at the Apple store when available. Or in more extreme cases, AT&T totally fubar-ing my order and pushing me to VZW.
