VZW Order Status Thread

My "Oder History" changed yesterday to reflect what I actually ordered. Initially, it only displayed the order number.

This is my last pre-order as my frustration level with the process has been elevated!:mad:

I see tons of people canceling to pick up in stores. I bet the cancelled preorders get re-routed to store inventory instead of straight to someone else in the preorder system.

I'm still:
Pre-ordered 9/12 with a ship date of 10/28 bumped to 10/24. 128gb SG 6+ on new edge line. No movement and stuck at "C" iconic status although the format of the page moved around sometime yesterday.

I was able to cancel and buy a phone at an Apple store. I returned my 4s the next day and got $200. I did specifically ask about it before I cancelled my pre-order. I did this face to face in a Verizon store.

Ihonestly just can't fathom that. Its just stupid how 3+ weeks later there are no phones in sight. I called my Verizon stores around, and they may have had a handful of + since launch btwn the 2 stores.

While there are phones around in stores, I have not found many 64GB 6+. Lots of 16gb. I still believe the rumors that the 6+ was not really ready for launch but Apple did not want to split the iPhone event, and they wanted to beat Samsung launch. I also cannot help but think the upcoming China pre-order isn't getting some priority. Billions of customers.

I have been thinking about those who were charged when they turned in their phones for the rebate. If Verizon didn't extend the credit, wouldn't Verizon have to return the phone then?
 
FYI,
GTAT the guys that were making the sapphire Glass for the ID buttons, Camera lens, and Apple Watch face just declared Bankruptcy this morning. :mad:

Rumors are this will push back some supply to January now. :eek:

Flight FDX96 is on the same route as as FDX90. They alternate and have been on a pretty consistent schedule. We should see FDX96 making that trip tomorrow. There a few other planes consistently coming from Hong Kong to Memphis, as well a a regular flights from Anchorage.

I agree, so there is at least big bodies flying the route for sure. Question is, how many iphones are on there? We will never know.
 
Gave Up Waiting

Been lurking on this board for quite some time. Ordered a SG 6 64gb on 9/21 for shipment by 10/17. I gave up waiting. Picked up a Silver 6 128gb this morning at Best Buy. Couldn't be happier! Good Luck to everyone who is still waiting for their order to be fulfilled.
 
Finally, in my verizon account, under notifications, it says, new device detected start media retreival. Maybe my phone will ship tomorrow.
 
I'm going to see what pans out this week, if nothing I will just go to the store and get a 6 and cancel my plus. Doesn't seem like the 128 pluses are having any movement even though should be the same logic board as the 6.

This rumor is false, their stock tanked last month when it was announced none of their sapphire production was used for manufacturing the iPhone 6/6+. They were working on making full screens for the apple watch and possibly the phones in the future, not the camera lens or touchID buttons.

And now they are messing with me. Moved to 10/10 and then back to 10/24 in the past hour... I give up

That is fantastic news, I ordered the same phone on 9/16 and also had the 10/3 ship date. Nothing on my end yet but good to know there is movement from the date and type of phone I'm waiting on

It's pretty disappointing following this thread for a couple weeks and only see a few of us at most get any sort of status change, let alone tracking numbers each day. Peeking at the apple order thread I noticed everyone is just talking about when theirs left China and when they expect delivery. Seems like a lot more action for orders right from apple.

That's where I would have ordered mine if I wasn't a new customer.
 
I've been watching this thread for a couple weeks. I pre ordered on 9-16 a 6+ 128 gig SG. Today on my verizon under orders it finally shows what I ordered and not just the order number. But no tracking yet. I hope I will get tracking this week. I have noticed that everyone on the spread sheet that order what I did hasn't got shipping yet. I hope there is a big plane with a bunch of SG 128g 6 pluses on it!


P.S. This will be my first iphone. I've been a hard core android person that roots and roms since the Droid X, had a black berry before that. Finally apple made a iphone with a big enough screen. So I'll give it a fair try. If I don't like it, I can always return for the Note 4. I have played with the iphone 6 plus at the verizon store and I think I'm going to like it.
 
I just spoke to a CS person at Verizon via their chat service and supposedly online orders are supposed to be getting fulfilled before any stores are getting phone stock.

But who knows, it could have been bs... Just getting a little antsy waiting for my phone...
