VZW Order Status Thread

Been lurking here for a while and seeing all the 128gb 6+ SG comments makes me wonder if there is something about this particular model. Been a Verizon customer for years, replacing an old iPhone4. I pre-ordered mine online at 0330 EST on 9/12 with a ship date of 10/7, it was cancelled by Verizon at 1030 EST on 9/12 for no reason that anybody at Verizon could find. Re-ordered via telephone at 1100 on 9/12 now with a ship date of 10/28 originally, which got bumped up to 10/24 a while ago. So an 8 hour difference on when you get your pre-order in can result in a 21 day delay. Since it seems like other folks ordering much later than mine have already gotten their phones, is it something about the 6+ SG 128 gb that takes longer?

Okay. I gave that a shot. I didn't think it worked at first because it displays as a bunch of code that I didn't recognize as anything useful.
So I ordered a 6+ 64 Silver in store on 9/19 and was given an est ship date of 10/24 at the time. Somewhere in that bunch of code it displays "iconicExpShipDate":"10/24/2014", which checks out. I also have cluster E with iconic status C.
So... that was enlightening?
Does this always display your results in a mess of code? Or is the iconic display supposed to provide, you know, icons?

That's pulling info from the back end allowing you to see more than what the regular page would tell you. There is a reddit post somewhere that explains the code a bit.
yeah, I ordered a 6 plus 64gb SG on 10/4, eta, 11/14...I hope that gets moved up...even a week..
I was reading over at 9to5 mac, and they have an article from somewhere saying that apple has now asked to move some production away from the 6 and put more on the 6+. Could be a rumor for sure, but it honestly makes sense. Lets remember, Apple really doesn't want for us to NOT have our phones. It would simply be bad bizness. I would bet that it should help a little bit. It really seems the 128, and 16GB + have been picked on this year.

I just spoke with a VZW rep and she told me my phone was shipping today and I should have my tracking # and such later today. Makes sense as Iconic shows an expected ship date of 10/3/2014 but I'm not inclined to believe her as my Iconic status has not changed and I haven't seen a charge to my card yet.

How do you get to that page whee you're getting "No change on verizon order tracking nor iconic"?

Just a quick FYI: I order two iPhone 6 (64 GB) Space Gray models and a 128 GB Space Gray iPhone 6 + on 09/28/2014 and was given a ship date of 10/31/2014; however, as of today, there has been no update to my order status.
Pardon my ignorance but what is Iconic? how do you find your status on "iconic"?

Iconic also listed me as 10/3 while a rep stated today to me last week. I really hope we see some movement today, I'm off on Friday so it would be a good day to wait on Fedex.
