My phone was delivered today. Had trouble activating until I turned phone off and on again.

Just to update, comcast is going to credit my account the 200.00. Verizon is suppose to give me the 1gb promo back. Hopefully this is true.

This whole preorder is nerveracking. I am glad I have my phone, but to get it was not what I would call upgrading.

gotcha! Thats what I was thinking, but hoping yours said "S" lol Hopefully we will see some movement early next week. Looking at the excel MR sheet, we are VERY close, there might be 3-5 orders ahead of us on that sheet. I really do think we should see our phones in our hands by next Friday. :apple::apple:

I ordered a 6 SG 16GB yesterday on a business account. I wasn't expecting this but I received shipment info. It is scheduled for delivery on Monday!
 
iPhone 6 64gig SG ordered 9/24 just shipped (10/10)

First post.

I ordered my 64gig iPhone 6 Space Gray model around 7pm EST on 9/24 using Verizon's EDGE. I immediately got an order confirmation email stating 10/24 as the ship-by date.

Until last night, the check order status led me to a page that said "order processing. shipment information will come soon" (or something to that effect).

First thing this morning on "My Account" under the order status the "products" section filled in with the sim card and the phone with a status of processing. Also in my receipts tab, there was an equipment purchase receipt.

2 hours later my order status says both have shipped (upgraded to 1-day shipping free from 2-day without my input) with tracking numbers. The tracking number links however lead to a fedex page denying their existence.

Shouldn't be long now! I wish everyone luck!
 
Interesting note...

Based on this page, https://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ , the Verizon based iPhone6 and 6+ will not be usable on China's networks. This may mean there won't be as much of a stock/inventory/manufacturing slow down for Verizon versions of the iPhone.

They are also probably making less, as the market for them isn't as large. Apple has always had plans to ship to other countries including China, and I'm sure production and stock was planned around a world wide release as well. I don't think we'll see anything move any faster or slower than it has been.
 
Did the reps say new ship date is the 17th for you? I ordered the same phone as you on 9/14. I had two separate orders but both for 16gb silver 6. One confirmation email said deliver by 9/19.. One said 10/3. I expected the 9/19 date was an error but was expecting the 10/3 but have had zero movement..

As expected, the VZW rep I talked to on Tuesday lied. I never received tracking or any charge on my bank account.

I'm just gonna try to keep away from here so I can keep my sanity. As of now it looks like a 10/17 ship date for me. I'm just gonna keep my mind off of it until I get an email with tracking info.

I'm glad you got your phone! I wish I had mine as well. I also wish there could be some sense made of the distribution from Verizon. I ordered about 1.5 hours before you (unless we're in different time zones (which is likely)) but you've got yours in hand and I haven't even gotten a tracking #.

Again, I'm trying (not successfully) to stay away from all of this so I can keep my sanity.

The rep I spoke to on the phone told me my phone had shipped on 10/7 and I'd have it 10/9 and I would see tracking and such later in the day (10/7).
 
Has anyone had any trouble with the $200 trade-in program for their old iPhone? The Verizon support forums are FULL of people who mailed in deactivated, fully functional phones and were told by Verizon that the value was adjusted to $36 because they hadn't turned off the activation lock or the Phone wouldn't turn on.

I'm slightly terrified to send my phone in to Verizon knowing I can't get it back if they're only going to give me $36 for a phone that could have fetched way more on Craigslist.
 
Stuck in System

I have been following this thread for some time while waiting for my phones. I ordered 2 IP6 - 16g and 1 IP 6 64g (all SG) on 9/16. There was never any movement or change to my status so I called VZW 3 times only to be told it was "in process". I also called the rep that set up my new service (switching from Sprint) and never received a return call. Today I finally spoke to someone that actually took the time to check into my order. It has been "stuck in the system"!!! Original order was cancelled, new order was placed and they supposedly placed me in "jump the line". We will see what happens but at least I feel better :)

Maybe call and tell then this and they can check. I basically blew a headgasket talking to the rep before she would put in the ticket. Good luck..

Don't mail it in, take it to a store!

Maybe orders placed on 9/16 got botched.


They honored the 1 gb promo for all three phones and waived the activation fee. Everything ended up being exactly the same as my original order. We will see if this one works. Hope to see some new phones soon.

I submitted the online form two weeks ago and have not even received the package from them to ship my current phone back. I am wondering whether that package or the phone arrives first.

Also, I have seen the complaints also so I will take photos videos of my phone's condition, working state, being reset, having find my iphone turned off etc. If they try to deny me I will take them to small claims court.

It's really weird so many people have to send them in. My fiance was able to give hers right to a rep in the store who inspected it quick. Its like a 5 point basic inspection. She even had a little water damage (toilet, lol) but the rep said it didn't look too bad. He applied the credit to her account on the spot. I ordered mine online, and since turning the phone in is required for early edge I had my rep look it over before ordering. My online order said I had 14 days upon the receipt of my 6 plus to return my current 5 to a store. Never said anything about sending it in. Obviously store reps are much more lenient, and once they sign off the inspection warehouse can't reverse it. I would recommend taking it to your closest store and seeing they can process the return. My buddy works at our Verizon and he said he's done a number of them and I plan on having him do mine.
