I read an article I think by forbes citing a person with knowledge of parts manufactures and foxconn that 6 pluses have accounted for nearly 60% of iphone 6 sales. Obviously higher than apple expected when producing 400,000 6's to just 140,000 pluses per day. Hopefully this realization has shifted production, and the news of delaying the new ipad is a sign of that. They also said China's longest lead times for most popular models was only 2-3 weeks as of now, and there have been almost 9 million preorders there already. This tells me apple was prepared in advance for China's launch. Although this whole system has been messed up, all these things tell me that the lead times should hopefully be getting shorter, especially if apple thinks they have a good grip on China's demand. I'm hopeful that there were a lot of phones sitting in waiting for the China release and Apple was waiting to see how it played out. They've been getting phones out on time for the most part, but have probably avoided reducing lead times (if its possible for them to do that)until they had more data.

IMHO, ordering the spreadsheet by estimated ship dates has painted the best pictured in terms of who's next, excluding some odd ball phones(6 16GB Silver..wtf?). Looks like almost all 10/17's are taken care of and I think some mention in this thread showed a few 10/24's getting handled in the last 24 hours. The good news, is that I noticed as those dates were slipping for most phones, the 10/24 estimate didn't last as long as 10/17 and quickly switched to 10/31. I think 10/31's *may* see some movement over the weekend.
I would imagine you should get one overnight tonight. Congrats again! I would guess she should see movement maybe early next week. Well, at least a couple of days early for your phone..not bad.. I noticed also that you are order cluster S as well? Wonder that that means...

I'm thinking that next week should be a good week. We've been saying this every Friday, but we're much farther into it and we've moved past most Sept 12 orders. Like you said I think they quickly moved ship dates back so they didn't risk a lack of product, but seeing them keep up with dates for the most parts makes me think the same as you.
Also, well over half of the orders ahead of mine on the spreadsheet (according to ship date) have shipped in the first 3 weeks and my ship date is still 4 weeks out. I'll take that as a good sign.
How come I can't update the spreadsheet? Is it read-only now?

I just checked mine........LOL Still "C", but seeing how the 17th dates (delivery) are showing signs of life (13-14th SEP order dates), it makes me really think that the 15ths, could see movement tonight or tomorrow, but for sure next Mon/Tue! I like how the 16GB + are starting to move as well.
They also seem to have taken a conservative route, especially with 64 plus SG. According to the sheet all 10/24 dates have already been shipped and the 10/31s should be next. I think that's a good sign for all plus models.
If my job was pre-ordering iphones, I would deserve a raise! Unfortunately my real work may be "lacking" the last few weeks. Too much time on the forum and spreadsheet, reading articles etc. lol.

agreed... It appears I might be the next 16GB+ SG to ship, there looks like another Silver and a 128GB ahead of mine. It should be early next week, IMO.
Come on 16g pluses. Don't slow down now. Make me that space gray case for it!!!! 2 weeks let's get a head start and just send me now. Gotta beat customs ya know? Please Monday-Wednesday if not then the next. ha ha. can't give up now it's been too long of a wait already!
My original quote was 10/28 and then I was moved to 10/24. I've been in limbo ever since. New edge line on a family account and still nothing showing in the account. The only thing I've received was the original preorder email at the time of the preorder.
