VZW Order Status Thread

Well my phone is less than two miles from my house loaded on a FedX truck for Monday delivery, so I can not go and get it. It will be delivered to my Wife's business so I won't get it until about 9PM Monday. But at least if is almost here.

I've went to FedEx and picked a phone up before.
 
Hi guys, I've got a question: If I order from the Apple store, can I get the Verizon single line plan? It is significantly cheaper than the MORE EVERYTHING MONDO plan. I ask because the Apple store has a 7-10 waiting period, while VZW has nearly a month backorder.

I just called and they so that it is already loaded on the truck and the shipper requested it be delivered to the address on the label and it will be delivered on Monday as scheduled.

Guess it depends on the manager and if you call before it's loaded.
 
Seems like a lot of us with 10/31 ship dates!

For those of you on here who have already gotten theirs, what do you think is a realistic time frame we could expect to get ours at this point? One week earlier? Two? Or is that being too hopeful?

For your reference, I ordered mine on 9/23 and it shipped on Friday to arrive at my doorstep on Tuesday. IPhone 6 SG 64GB.

Put your confirmation number where it says CONFIRMATION last name where it says YOURLASTNAME. You can't use your internet order number it has to be a confirmation number which you can get from a Verizon rep if you tell them your internet order number.

Also here is the sheet if anyone has not been added. Go ahead and add yourself but please don't do any formating it messes it all up. If you need to sort, please copy and paste in your own spreadsheet. Also, any other "lurkers" out there lol feel free to add your info, the more info the better. I think at this point a day or two before at best, but all is not lost for hope.

Due to apple selling in new countries now, as they have sold over 8 million pre orders, with even apple this past week in store phones not showing up much at all, I have to say a day or 2 at best, Apple sold way more than expected, I personally think the iPhone 6 and 6 plus with IOS 8, is the most innovative iPhone Apple has come out with since the first iPhone.

The first person I spoke to at Verizon just said the order number is the only number. I explained to him others were getting some sort of confirmation # other than the order number, but he was not trained on that apparently.

I tried again today and gave them the 16 digit # I had and they gave me a 6 digit # and claimed my order did not have my last name on it but I still cannot get the iconic page to work no matter what combination I try of the long or short number and my last name nor first name.

It took me 4 tries to finally get someone who knew what I was talking about. I dialed *611 to get into my account info and when you go through the menu to check your order status it will give you the last 6 digits of your confirmation number. I chatted with a rep under the "account management" tier on the live chat and gave her those six numbers and she was able to help me right away.

I'm unable to add info on my iPad also.
 
Yup definitely should of ordered through apple. Activity is going crazy over there. Starting to push out 9/19 dates? Wtf verizon are you hoarding my phone for some unknown reason?
 
I just got a message from Apple that my 6 plus blue leather case will be delayed another week. I can't believe they can't even ship a case in the two week window that they gave me. I'm so sick of these delays. I thought production was supposed to be Tim Cook's strength. Last year I waited 6 weeks for a iPhone 5s and now I am still waiting for my 6+ and the case. I'm canceling the case order and going with something else.

Verizon isn't "hoarding" your phone. They simply have not gotten it from Apple yet. It appears Apple has a bias toward supplying their own retail stores before carrier outlets. Like you, all Verizon can do is wait for Apple to send them your phone.

I thought I'd feel that way, but since I have little willpower I got the silver. I'd got a black case for it, and while I may just be trying to convince myself, I have actually not found it too bad. I kind of like it. And I too thought white was girly (like hockey skates). But it looks better to me than I thought.

What is available in stores depends greatly on what size, model and color someone wants, as well as what carrier. There are iPhones out there, but the pluses in certain colors and sizes still remain scarce. The fact Apple is delaying production of the new iPad Air to focus on iPhone production is telling, IMHO.
