VZW Order Status Thread

Random question for those who got the 6+... Does anyone know if it plays videos in full screen like all iPhones or does it play them in the section where the video is like on iPads?
 
Hey all,

I have been lurking for a while, but didn't see much point to chime in since I only ordered on 10/3. Ordered online on VZW website. iPhone 6+ 128gb silver. ETA when I ordered was 10/31, not sure where everyone else is seein updates on their ETA.

This will be my first iPhone, as i have been strictly android for years. I am about 6'6" so I have been wanting larger phones for years :). Last phone was a Note2 and loved the size, but had issues with touchWiz and thought I might jump ship this time and try our an iPhone. Wife loves her 4s, so we'll see how i like the 6+.

Well I have finally had my CC charged and my receipt is showing up in my documents. No tracking number yet but I am thinking maybe I will get one tomorrow and get the phone Tuesday like others as it seems that they charge you when they are ready to ship.
 
Waiting for four 6 Plus since pre-order day...

The only update I have on my order is that nothing has changed. I still have one SG 6 Plus 128GB on order, and three SG 6 Plus 64GB on order from the pre-order day. I have been stuck at expected ship date October 24, 2014, since my original confirmation email. I still have four UDP lines and I chose to keep them once I found out I would not be throttled by Verizon. Verizon does not care that I am buying them at full retail. Maybe they are mad that I have UDP lines? I am just getting pissed that pre-order does not seem to mean anything anymore. If I ordered them today, my shipping date would be another 1-3 weeks from where I am stuck at now. I plan on ordering the new iPad Air when it goes on sale. At this rate, I may have a new iPad before my iPhones. Still have four 4's and one original ATT iPad. After four years, it was time for some updated equipment.

I would expect yours would be on its way shortly unless it truly is shipped in batches and we're waiting for more of that model. I was expecting the people with the 10/31 ship dates would start moving soon for this model. It was the quickest to have dates pushed back but they seem pretty much in line with other plus models as far as date ordered. I think and hope yours is very close.

Didn't realize yours was gold. But I believe we're right around your order date for pluses being shipped.

In "landscape" mode the screen is full. Holding the phone horizontally.

The new iPad production is being delayed until Apple gets on top of iPhone orders.

Yeah I really like the silver but the white front sort of urked me. I was at Gamestop yesterday (random I know) and they had used iPhone 5s's for sale and someone had modified their white and silver iPhone 5s so that the front was black (give away was the white home button) and I thought it looked really really nice...I just think the black looks more professional and yes "less girly" :D

Yeah that's what I meant. Verizon still hasn't charged the credit card....I'm gonna be on the phone with these guys every single week day until the phone gets here. I really wouldn't be all that surprised if I never get this phone, it seams like the universe (well at least Verizon) has conspired against me to make this impossible.

I'm ordering through Apple if possible next time, every time I try and go through Apple though they can never get access to my account, never able to even see upgrade eligibility or anything! So its like I'm forced to buy through Verizon unless I want to pay full retail :/ I think next time I buy an iPhone I will most certainly not be signing a contract with a carrier, I can't understand how they expect customers to be happy with the way they treat them. They gave me false order numbers, false ship dates, false status updates, didn't let me know the terms and agreements system had failed, lied about the credit card being charged (it hasn't). Really they should be sending me the iPhone priority with an apology and not arm wrestling me...

Biggest first world problem but I JUST WANT MY PHONE.

Haha very well put! I usually try and avoid buying a new iPhone when it first comes out but I wanted the "experience" I guess....lol. I'm just gonna go back to playing with my phone-less iPhone 6 case...

Hahaha, I'm in the same boat. I've had my case for about a week now and I like to put my current 5 in it so I can pretend like I have the 6+ :p.

Only ~2-weeks of delusions before it becomes a reality!

Glad you chimed in since we have the same order date. What color and capacity did you order and what is your exp delivery date if u don't mind me asking? Oh and Welcome to the IPhone Family :)

And I would love to be added to the sheet as well please.
