VZW Order Status Thread

Starting to get upset reading this thread. When I ordered 3 6s on 9/15 and still haven't received an update and others later than are already receiving their phone.

I did not trust mailing it in, so I took it to a VZW store. The rep there turned it on, to make sure it worked, made sure it had been reset (all info deleted) and wrote down some numbers from the screen. Then he credited my account. I did not mail it because I felt I'd have no leg to stand in should they make the claim that the phone did not work.

I had to fill out the or on the trade in section online, but the rep did it for me right in the store.

For whatever it is worth, the rep told me that filling out the online form was the key to timing, not the arrival of the phone. I think you have until Dec 1 to return the phone.
 
Got a tracking number for my iPhone 6 64gig SG this morning, but it has yet to show up in the FedEx tracking web site. Do they batch ship these things? Like perhaps at the end of the day?

I figured it would show up in the FedEx tracking site when I looked up my tracking number 8 hours later.

I know some of you are still waiting for any progress at all and I wish you all the speediest of deliveries. Just curious if any one has any insight.

Packages won't show up until they arrive at the first sorting facility in the evening and get their first scan. It should be moving tonight.

Literally 2 minutes before you replied, I checked again and it was leaving Pennsylvania. Thanks for the information!
 
To the ones who got a bump up in the ship date, where did you see the bump? Mine has been 10-31 since I placed the order on 9-21. I look at all 3 of the ways to check stats on Verz, all say 10-31.

They were only bumped to a new schedule. Ship days are now Friday's of each week. Everyone is in the same ship window as previously they just changed the deadline of the windows. I don't think anyone ever actually got "bumped." Logistics were just rearranged.

I've been bumped a week later
 
I was looking at orders and it seems the 64gb 6+ is the slowest shipping out of the bunch. Maybe I'll throw another 100$ and get the 128gb.

When did you order yours? I ordered the same model on 10/2.

Yeah it's seems like it. Preordered my 6 plus 64gb gold on the 15th. Still showing expected ship date for 24th. Hoping it ships out soon. This is getting ridiculous.
 
So...... Today I said Screw Verizon and was at the local best buy when they opened. I picked up my silver 64gb 6 plus. Not to mention they had 4 128gb sg, 2 64gb silver and 1 16gb gold plus. They had a s*it ton. So yeah don't wait just grab it a your local shop. Idevicechecker and other sites are not helpful just get there when they open and call VZW and cancel. Order date 9/24 ship by 10/31, screw the man date 10/10 :) three weeks early!

According to our spreadsheet everyone on there with the 64 plus SG with ship date 10/24 and prior has been shipped. I would expect yours would be on its way shortly unless it truly is shipped in batches and we're waiting for more of that model. I was expecting the people with the 10/31 ship dates would start moving soon for this model. It was the quickest to have dates pushed back but they seem pretty much in line with other plus models as far as date ordered. I think and hope yours is very close.

Didn't realize yours was gold. But I believe we're right around your order date for pluses being shipped.

Someone let Apple know for next time the white front is not as popular as the think, because it seems like for the 6 and 6+ the SG orders have been backed up.

Agreed. I love the silver but couldn't live with the white front. All silver/gray/gold (no second color on front) would be cool. Had a chance at a silver 6 plus but couldn't do it. I knew I would be dissappointed choosing a speedy delivery over a phone I could live with for the next year or two.
