VZW Order Status Thread

I was almost hopeful, my Iconic Expected Ship Date went blank, but a minute later it showed the same 10/24/2014 date. :(

We got 9 days left hang in there after next Friday then we can get upset just a month and a half is unreal imo but oh well
 
Do you guys know how to check the ship date? I go on to the Verizon My Orders page but no shipping info available.
 
From the looks of the spreadsheet, it looks like for the 6 plus, SG, 64GB there has been no activity for anything after the 9/13. Boy the shipment has been tight...
 
Got my iPhone today! I literally camped at my house all day waiting for FedEx so that I could sign and he didn't even require a signature. psh. Oh well, worth it!

Will someone change my status to delivered on the spreadsheet? :)

Been a long time lurker and decided to jump in. I ordered two iphone 6 pluses both at full price to keep my "grandfathered" account.

Did you have a company name listed on your residential address by chance? If so that's only way it won't require a signature. All VZW residential deliveries require an ISR signature (Indirect Signature Release)

On a side note my Father in law went into a VZW store and ordered a iPhone 6 124GB phone last night and he received it this morning via FedEx. Was told by sales associate Memphis warehouse had about 5,000 in stock. If true not sure why they don't ship those out to people waiting for theirs for a while now...

awesome!!! Yes please, add me to the delivered as well. Hope everyone gets there phone soon. The 10/24's should be shipping by Friday. IMO
 
My parents got theirs today (64gb iphone 6 in gold and grey). Ordered on 9/29.

Ended up spending over an hour on the phone with them. Both phone's touch IDs aren't working at all (doesn't even acknowledge that the finger was pressed down when he sowed me on facetime), my father says the person on the other end sounds "faint, and when he calls me on Facetime or switches to speakerphone, I can't hear him at all.

At first I was getting frustrated thinking that he was just old, but I'm starting to wonder if they received phones from a "bad batch" or if the restore from their iPhone 4's messed something up. Just want to see if anyone else is experiencing any issues from recent Verizon deliveries?

Everybody is getting that ship date. They are either going to hit the mother load on or around the 31st or there are going to be a lot of mad customers of Verizon. I ordered October 3rd and ordered the same phone and got the 31st.

I imagine Vzw was promised x amount of phones in each version by the 31st, and the only reason some people can still get that date is because the # of units allocated to that model hasn't dried up yet

Gosh I can't believe how patient everyone's been. Orders from September are still unfulfilled?!? I ordered on Sunday (10/12) and I'm going nuts. Checking Iconic every 35 minutes. My wife's 6 (64 Gold) has a 10/24 ship date and my 6+ (128 SG) is 10/31. Really hoping they get here sooner. The only reason I chose VZW was because the rep I spoke with told me I had to order from them to qualify for a $200 trade-in of an iPhone 4.

Hmm well I recently ordered yesterday so it's weird how yours is the 31st while mine isn't until 11/14

Did they leave the film on the phones?

Nope, not that I am aware of. My FedEx email also said no signature required. No idea.. but oh well

Me too... Im waiting to hear back. I specifically asked him if he removed the plastic when he was unboxing, and now that I think of it, never got a clear answer.

This would make my life complete.

Hey whatever works! I personally HATE delivering VZW phones to residentals just for that signature required they have, but do LOVE it when they add their company name to there resi address. Because of that the signature requirement is removed!

Enjoy that phone! It's a badass device!

Confirmed...they are just old. I specifically asked him which is why I didn't think of it again.

Well I guess this is a sign for Apple to put some little mark on the plastic for the aging generation. Thanks guys... had a good laugh.

Changed my mind

So on 9/30 I ordered 6+ 128g Silver to ship by 10/31, I have always had black fronts on my phones but thought I would change it up.. The last two weeks all I could think about was that white phone front and if I am going to like it or not. Watched numerous reviews and YouTube unboxing's etc...This morning I broke down, just cant do the white faced phone ( personal Preference )

I called Verizon today and asked 1.) if I could change my order and 2.) if it would push my ship date back.. The CSR said she would have to cancel that order and place another but as of right then the Space Grey( that I ordered today ) would still ship by 10/31..

I went ahead and did it, canceled and reordered and my ship date is still 10/31 thankfully and no more dreading not liking the white front...

Already got my Tech21 "smoky" case that I love, it would have never looked good with white either...

Hoping those 10/31s move soon. even the rep today said don't be surprised if I got it sooner
