all this talk about orders getting cancelled, i hope my order i put in yesterday doesn't get cancelled!

If our orders show up in their order status system, is it safe to assume its in their end and not canceled/lost in cyberspace?
Hey guys, I was thinking. My phone doesn't get here until November, and by then Apple will release an iOS update. So what happens if my phone comes and it's on an older version of iOS 8 while my 5s is on the current version?
The card has just been charged for my 9/12 3pm order of a 6+ grey 128GB.
I'm pinching myself to make sure it's not a dream.
The order is now also in my account history.
Fingers crossed for all of us beleaguered 6+ 128ers!

so, I got my iPhone 6+...love it so far. Here is the funky thing, they helped me switch hardware, so my main line has the iPhone, and our new line has the S5...All that worked and both are activated with right numbers, but its not showing the Verizon near the signal strength but the phone works...it pops up saying its not activated, but it is...stayed on phone with verizon tech for over an hour, and now I have to now call apple cuz they have NEVER seen that before...![]()

On this forum and on the Verizon forum, I've read that a lot of people have had their order cancelled unbeknownst to them or that their order somehow didn't go through. I've even read that some people's orders were lost somewhere in cyberspace and would never have been fulfilled if the person hadn't called customer service. How do I know if this has happened to me? ICONIC shows my order info. Could it still be lost or cancelled?

As of a few hours ago: my Iconic status under 'number of items' now has 99 - and there are 99 lines of random code. The very last thing is my Iconic status - which is now 'S'. There is a place for a tracking number but it is blank.
When I look at my account under 'My Orders' - where it used to list only my device is not lists my device and "4G 4FF PRE-INSTALLED SIM"
There is also an equipment purchase document in my documents dated today that was not there before.
All the signs are looking good, but I never dreamed my phone would potentially ship this early after reading this thread so thoroughly - has anybody else experienced the same things?
Haha, I got 99 items but a phone ain't one...
Most of my 99 problems involve things I should be doing, but aren't because I'm checking this damn thread all day long, haha.
