yeah i know, my status has been processing since the 17th. i was just wondering wtf the letters meant lol. we got the same phone and ordered on the same day so ours should have the same everything (movement, ship date, ect.) so lemme know if anything happens with yours and ill let you know what happens with mine

I was thinking for my one month taking my case out to see some sites, get some food and maybe a movie...

flight info

there are 8 flights from Anchorage to Louisville that have arrived or soon to arrive since midnight EST that are full of iPhones. 3 have landed so far, 3 are en route and 1 departs in 2 hours. great ****ing news:D
also, there have been 2 FedEx flights from louisville to memphis that have landed in the past 2 hours that probably have iphones on them

I feel badly for you. Nothing like waiting for something for so long and then to have something funky with it.

My envelope took longer than that to arrive. I turned the phone in at the store. Did not want to trust mailing it. Had the $200 credited to my account so cannot say how long it takes to get the gift card.

Thanks...I will see what they say when I call Apple tomorrow. Maybe they make a genius bar appointment?

It honestly sounds like a SIM card problem....like when you take the SIM card out obviously the carrier logo goes away...I have an old iPhone 3G and the SIM card slot is messed up and it does exactly what your describing except on T-Mobile 3G....I've seen my 5c say not activated if the SIM card is disturbed in the middle of something...if I had to guess I'd say its a bad SIM card or the phone's SIM card slot is bad.

Thank you for the reply. I honestly didn't think of that, but you might be right..maybe its not seated in there right. Gonna pop it out and try again.

ok, thank you for the advice. I think I will run by the store tomorrow and see whats up. I wonder if something happened when they hardware swapped with my main number and the new line? The rep, really nice, and tech guy, super smart, said it was all activated and good to go, they had no idea what was up. Sounds like a sim issue.
 
I don't know when to expect tracking info. Anybody know the estimated time frame on when I could possibly receive it? Is it possible I'll have my phone by Friday? I know last time I spoke with a CS rep they told me I had overnight shipping.

It should arrive Monday if it ships tomorrow with Overnight. Slight possibility that it gets to you on Friday.
 
EDIT: I just want to say this thread has been reassuring! Not only for tech and of course moral support but reassuring that I'm not the only one that goes nuts over new electronics like the iPhone! I think my parents think I'm crazy....glad I can point them in the direction of a 400 page thread full of other "crazies" haha.

Well at least it functions somewhat...but yeah that does suck...hopefully the problem can be resolved quickly. I hope Apple has some type of replacement system where replacements take priority over others....it would seam like the right thing to do.

No problem. Yeah I distinctly remember AT&T customers have SIM card issues all over the place when one of the iPhones was released...I just remember see threads on MR allot about it and I still see situations where a new SIM card seams to fix the problem...they can be funky little chips!
 
Finally some movement on plus 128 SG. Noticed some processing on spreadsheet and iTracker showing several California Apple stores in stock now. Nothing for me yet, but nice to see some movement.

Well just checked and my local Apple Store has a 128GB + SG. Too bad I'm a new customer doing edge.

There is only one close to me and it's about a 45 min drive. But I'm going to call them and my local Verizon store in the morning.
