VZW Order Status Thread

Tracking number email received...

Got my email from Verizon today for my four 6 Plus's to be delivered by FEDEX on 10-21. The wait is finally over. Waited six weeks for 6 Plus's through Verizon, and have two iPad Air 2's that will arrive by next Friday, order through Apple. Next week is a big Apple week at home. Thanks to everyone for helping to make this whole Verizon experience a bit more pleasant than dealing with Verizon. Yes, I did buy the iPads off the Apple site. Strange thing is, the sim card that comes with them will not work with Verizon. I need to go and get a sim card from them.They are the only carrier who the Apple sim card will not work with. Does Verizon have to always be difficult? The network in my area is great, but their customer service is lacking a bit. Much easier and more pleasant to deal with Apple. Thanks all...

Ordered 9-14 original ship date 11/7 was changed to 10/31 about two weeks after order.

I assume the deal is these phones are not produced yet and ship once in Verizon's hands, must be a big batch coming all at once...

Yeah, I've been following istocknow also. You don't have to cancel your order first? Apple store and hour away has some in stock, but if try to order online I get a message about I already have iPhone ordered. Also, so do you know if you can do the edge program in Apple store?

One of my ordered iPhones was showing in stock at 3 different locations 4 hours away, all in different directions. If any of them had had both of mine in stock, I might have convinced myself to make the drive.

Nah, just put your order in now and choose in store pick up. If the order completes and you get the ready for pick up email you are home free.

Edit: I purchased an off contract iphone and a new line. So YES you might have to cancel first to get your upgrade back. Sorry for the wrong information.

yea, i tried to do the order first. it says i have to cancel... plus im using another lines upgrade.... think ill just wait the 7 days and hope it ships on time, i have already waited over a month... whats another 7 haha:(

Again sorry about the wrong info ....and if I were you I would be doing the same exact thing. Just wait it out since you are so close.

its cool! thanks for helping! I just dont want to screw myself in the process and ill be saving $100 this way too. I think ill go hold my case some more now lol

Pretty much all of us in the 64GB club are waiting. Apparently, 64GBs are a rare species.
 
If I cancel my Verizon order and order my phone on apple.com and do in store pick up, will I still get the 200 dollars for the trade in with verizon??
 
Okay. Well I see that 6 pluses seem to be moving. What about the 6's? I ordered iphone 6 64 gb silver on October 5 with a estimated ship date of 10/27. Iconic C status no movement.

Fine print from Verizon says no. Some people have had success with certain Verizon reps IN-STORE, while others have not. Seems like most success stories, are with people who already have an activated 6/6+ and a CSR that is not very strict.

A Verizon rep I asked on chat said if it was from a Verizon authorized dealer such as an Apple Store or Walmart they would honor it. Then again people here different things from different reps apparently. I could have possibly gotten a phone at Walmart here one day, but waited until I asked that rep and then I was still nervous and by the time I went by the Walmart days later the phone was gone.
 
I think its messed up that the 6+ 128gb SG is in stock at over a dozen apple stores in the country but I haven't got my PRE order yet!
 
No movement on my iPhone 6 plus, 64G, SG yet. Seems a whole batch in a certain range of order dates have an estimated shipping date of 11/07/14 for this phone. Hoping it takes place sooner, because a 5 week shipping waiting time is inexcusable.

Apple just kind of does what they want. If they want to put the phones in their stores, they will. No, it's not fair, but that's the price we pay for not ordering through apple. I've learned a valuable lesson for next time though....

YUP. I know not to PRE order anything from Verizon again. What a joke!

I hear you, and other people do as well. I pre-ordered four 6 Plus's on September 12th and just got my tracking email today for Tuesday delivery. I was starting to think my iPad Air 2 was going to be received first. Phones are next Tuesday, and iPads are by next Friday. It was close. Is your information on the spreadsheet, I just updated mine, and will keep doing so through next Tuesday. It helped me a bit, as well as using Verizon Iconic to keep tabs on my pre-order confirmation. I know it sucks, and it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not a freight train. It will happen soon...
 
Any movment for 128gb iPhone 6+ in gold with a shipmate of 10/31?
