When did you order? 64GBs are a rare species apparently!

I just went status S, maybe some movement here on i6, 64GB SG's
sweet so it looks like the 10/31 people aren't to far behind! hopefully some moment soon!
I hear you, and other people do as well. I pre-ordered four 6 Plus's on September 12th and just got my tracking email today for Tuesday delivery. I was starting to think my iPad Air 2 was going to be received first. Phones are next Tuesday, and iPads are by next Friday. It was close. Is your information on the spreadsheet, I just updated mine, and will keep doing so through next Tuesday. It helped me a bit, as well as using Verizon Iconic to keep tabs on my pre-order confirmation. I know it sucks, and it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not a freight train. It will happen soon...
Mine is now showing
Order Number: 180946

Does that mean it is too late to cancel if I find one in a local store by some chance today?
09/28/14, late morning.
Yes, it does seem that way. I understand supply/demand constraints, and reducing costs of doing business. But there is a serious concerns that Apple has lost a large degree of control over their logistics and manufacturing processes. This rollout is worse than the one two years ago when the iPhone 5 was originally released.

Apple just kind of does what they want. If they want to put the phones in their stores, they will. No, it's not fair, but that's the price we pay for not ordering through apple. I've learned a valuable lesson for next time though....
Yeah I seriously don't remember the iPhone 5 being this insane....I mean I know the 16GB models were out of stock but the 32GB and 64GB models were always readily available IIRC...now it seams like the 64GB model is really popular to a degree we've never seen or maybe Apple thought everyone would go 16GB and made way less 64GB's and it just happened to be a different tide this year....
Yes, can't cancel a shipped order, which means anything from your status now until it is delivered.
Oh great, so they finally ship it, but it will not get here before my Straight Talk expires tomorrow and I will have to pay $45 to renew just for to keep my number for a few days. Apple has really disappointed me. There is no defending their underproduction when it happens year after year. Their products are okay, but they have some serious issues with being consumer friendly.

Hate to bail on yall but I found one I store and cancelled my preorder. Good luck, hopefully this pushes someone up in the queue!
Nice! I ordered a 128G 6+ Gold on 9/25 ship date of 10/24. No movement yet.
They eliminated the 32Gig units, and 16Gigs are no longer enough to hold music, photos, and other data comfortably. So the 64 Gigs are a good "middle of the road" unit. The other alternative is to rely on iCloud drive, but not everyone wants to do that. Some say they seriously underestimated the demand for the larger 6 Plus, but IMO, this should not have been a surprise. And how can you underestimate this? Many iPhone users have been talking and contemplating shifting to Droids for years, just because of the larger screens. Again, this should have been better thought out in the development and planning stages of logistic levels and manufacturing capacity for initial rollout.
