Hows is everyones day so far. I've posted a couple of times on this threat. I ordered the 64GB space gray iPhone 6 Plus. I decided today to call Verizon and see what is going on with my order, four weeks in.(Ordered on 9/16). The Verizon Representative informed me that my iPhone 6 Plus will be shipped on November 27!!!!. I decided, I was fed up of waiting and told her to cancel my order and decided to play "Who has an iPhone 6 Plus". Today was my lucky day. The first Apple store I visited had only one iPhone 6 Plus available on Verizon and was in 128GB. Long story short. I'm enjoying my iPhone 6 Plus!!. hopefully other can be lucky like me.

Glad it worked out! Seems the 128's are fairly easy to find in store.

How long did it take for your acct to show you're eligible for an upgrade after you cancelled?

Thank you. I was surprised they even had it stock with it flying off the shelves within an hour. Verizon was supposedly having server issues. It took three hours to complete the whole transaction. An hour to clear from my account, but unfortunately didn't let me use Edge. So it was either pay full 1K price or 2 yr contract. 2 year contract for me.
 
Is there a way for me to find my confirmation number? I don't see it in the Confirmation email or on My Verizon.

What the what? Did they tell you why they missed the mark by 1 month? Did your estimated ship date show 11/27 online?

Got me a little concerned as I orderd on 9/19 with an estimated ship of 11/7.

If you ordered online you probably have a 10 digit internet order number. If you want the longer 16 digit code, you have to call and ask for it, or contact Verizon via chat (i had no luck via chat, but others have). I had no problem getting it via phone, the rep actually gave it to me without me asking for it.
 
Yeah this stinks... there are looking to be more and more in the stores, but i am like 4 hours from the closest one... not an option for me. I guess i'll just keep waiting.

That makes no sense, the 64 G SG 6Plus on verizons website says it ships by 11/14 right now.. I think you got some bad advice by that CSR but congrats on your phone anyway...

Ordered 2 iphone6+'s on sept 19th, one 16g gold(oct24th shipping date) and 64g SG(oct31st shipping date). No activity for a long time. Checked both orders this afternoon, BOOM, 16g gold+ on fedex truck for deliver:cool: but I was out doing errands and totally missed it! Now saying redelivery attempt Monday.

I'm not too disappointed as its coming earlier than scheduled anddd it just so happens the 16g+ was for my girlfriend.(can't say the same for her tho):rolleyes:
 
I'm really tempted to switch to a 6 plus 128 SG because it still has a ship date of 10/31 and I would probably see something by the end of next weekend or the beginning of that next week. I have a 64gb on order now from the 23rd supposedly shipping by the 7. If I knew it would arrive earlier I would do it, the only problem I see is if the order from sept 23rd ships early because its been 4 weeks I would be screwing myself. What do ya'll think? Not worried at all about the money, and both phones are plenty of space. Do I risk it? I just want a 6 plus in the soonest way possible, that's my only motive.

I would only say do it if you really need the added storage. If you take tons of photos or download lots of music and videos and do not like ever moving things off your device go for it.

Do not do it just to get it slightly faster though. It sets a bad precedent. What If lots of people who are tired of waiting for the 64 were to buy 128s this time just to get a phone quicker, then it would encourage Apple even more so the next time to produce more of the larger storage devices and less of the smaller storage devices knowing people will pay them to get the larger ones they do not really need just to have them faster next time (ie it lets Apple know they can get over on its fans).

I have a very bad feeling that apple/verizon wont be able to come CLOSE to getting these orders out by 10/31. I just don't see that happening when they are STILL processing the first week of pre-orders over a month later..
 
Just spoke with a VZ rep on the phone and confirmed that my order 64+ SG still shows a ship date of 11/7. Which it does.

I also confirmed that my Early Edge Up plan is the 12 months/60% plan based on when I orderd (9/19) and not when I activate the phone. Which it also is. Was concerned that I might get stuck with the new and less improved 18 months/75% Edge plan.

Interestingly the rep wasn't even aware that VZ had changed their Edge plan until I told her. Rep was grateful that I informed them of the change and agreed that VZ needs to do a much better job communicating this kind of stuff to the people that actually deal with their customers.
