Been lurking for a few days and decided to join tonight. Got the email from VZW tonight reiterating that 10/24 was still a go. Like everyone, hoping it's earlier - leaving on a trip 10/26 and would love to have new phone with me!


We have a lot of things in common.

Order date: 9/24

Ship date: 10/24

Verified this twice with Verizon. I'm not apposed to an earlier ship date! LOL. I'm
patiently waiting trying to stay busy shopping for cases.
 
Edge up payment info:

Seen this question asked many pages back and finally took time to call in just now.

A Verz rep told me the edge up amount from the original order will be charged but how many more payments we make from order date to activation date will be a bill credit.

In my case it was $93 to edge up and I will of made another payment by the time I activate my new phone so I will be charged the $93 and have a $31 credit. She said if this didn't happen to call in and it will be adjusted.
 
The conversation with Verizon support kind of took the wind out of my wings. It makes me wonder if my order even really exists

How so?

I can view my order on the website and iconic, but the automated order tracking menu cut my off as soon as I entered my confirmation number, and none of the 3 CSRs that I spoke with could give me anything definitive. Can't tell if I should be worried or if they are just incompetent

Really sorry to know that. If ur calling customer support call center consider going to a local store. I have only one location I go to and only work with certain reps. I have the cell number of one of the reps.
 
Ordered 6+ gold 128gb on 10/14. Csr messed up the order and never ended up setting up the order. Called cs a few hours ago the bumped me up and are shipping on Monday.

Verizon has been ridiculous with customer service in this instance. Do you think my order would appear in ICONIC if it hadn't been processed correctly?
 
Another wave of the same planes coming in. They are on time. Most likely they will get processed tomorrow or Monday, but I'm loving this steady stream. If only I was in those waves.. Wednesday through Thursday they update and process orders around 9PM(PST) if they had a flight come in that day. Friday's they wait till Saturday etc... Anyways, project Hallow is go, let's get some iPhones!!

My anticipation is turning to insanity... Especially with my phone showing in stock in so many apple stores. Would my wife notice if I didn't go to work Monday and drove 4 hours to a store and got home before she did....hmmm interesting.

This made my day.

New to Verizon customer here too. I tried to insert my info into the spreadsheet with all the other 6's but kept getting a 2 pixel high row. I ended up putting it at the bottom (at row 171).

its not that they over sold phones, its that apple didnt have enough phones produced to meet the demand of pre orders and first week orders. they thought, especially with the 6 Plus that it wouldnt have such a high demand but that turned out to be completely false lol
 
Lurking for weeks

Same old story...

6+ 64 SG ordered on 9/26 from Verizon online with Ship By date of 11/7. Hoping for shipment around next weekend.
