It is called the early edge program. I think you're eligible after a year. You have to trade in your old phone to qualify and that gets you out of your contract and eligible to upgrade.

I wasn't on the edge program. To be eligible to edge up you have to have already been on the edge program. Besides, I just got my 5s in May. So it has only been 5-6 months so far

The way it is advertised after you are done with your 2 year contract. You can choose between edge or another contract. If you are still in the contract then it won't let you. And on the vz website in the portion that is information about edge. One of the faq's is who is eligible for edge. And it says that your device must be eligible for an upgrade. My phone was not at all eligible. The website said I would be eligible like 5/31/16
 
iPhone 6 64GB SG, ordered 9/30, orig ship date 10/31. After billing issues this week, manually paid over the phone yesterday at 5pm.

My FedEx page just started tracking my package.
-Picked up in Memphis, TN 12:00am today
-Arrived at FedEx location 4:18pm today Memphis, TN

No estimated delivery date available at this time.

I'm hoping for a Monday delivery, maybe Tuesday at the latest.
 
I'm not super familiar with Google Docs but I made a copy of the spreadsheet and resorted it and protected it. Only me and the original owner can edit it. If you'd like to be added to the edit list, let me know. :)

I don't know about you guys but I look at it A LOT and the idiot who keeps messing with it is annoying me.

Like I said, it's "early" edge. I'm not eligible for an upgrade yet either and that's how I bought my 6 plus. They allow you out of your contract as part of a promotion, in turn you turn in your old phone. It's not edge up or new edge. The 1 year was just a guess.

Howdy folks - longtime lurker.

Wish I had better news for my first post in a couple years. If you have an iPhone 6 64gb silver scheduled to ship 10/24, 10/31, or 11/7, you are unfortunately SOL. Just got off the phone with a very helpful CSR who informed me that Verizon would not be shipping that combination until 11/14.

She proceeded to tell me that a lot of people wouldn't be getting their phones 10/24, as Apple has been having major supply chain issues and is well behind demand now. Surprise!

Considering canceling my preorder solely so that Apple doesn't get the interest on my float / their sales figures go down. The only way they'll improve their supply chain management is if we vote with our dollars.

Meh, my experiences with VZ reps has been a mixed bag. Frankly, I'd take whatever you were told with a grain of salt.

If I'm being polite I'd say that many of my conversations with them have shown they are often misinformed, but present their misinformation with confidence.

Like everyone here, I'm hoping for movement soon. I am fortunate to be using an iPhone 6 I pre-ordered as soon as the store went live on 9/19, which does help alleviate the anticipation slightly. My wife took one look at the iPhone 6 and wanted it....so I thought I'd give the 6 Plus a try and give this one to her to keep her happy...lol.

Good luck to everyone. I know this is very frustrating. From Apple's perspective- in my humble opinion - it would have been difficult to assume there would have been THIS MUCH DEMAND for the iPhone 6 Plus. I know many would disagree. We are talking about tens of millions of orders in a matter of a couple weeks. Thats insane, even by Apple's standards.

Keep the faith and much thanks to whomever adds my info the the spreadsheet!

I was actually told by one csr that my 6 64 silver would be delayed till the 31st, then told by another that it would be 11/14. I asked to speak to a manager and she said still on track for 10/24. I don't know when we will be getting these phones. :mad:

:( I'm sorry about that. I don't have that configuration but I'd be frustrated waiting 30 days or more for a phone if I needed it. I have a phone that's still in pretty good condition, I only upgraded because the microphone on it died.

The only other phone I really considered was the Nexus 6 but I'm sure if I got either that or the Note 4 I'd be settling for second best :cool:

Ah someone else with the same phone I ordered, I'm a 9/21 order with no updates, no cc charge no nothing but a long long wait.

64gb 6+ SG ... Ordered 9/25. No movement... Unable to get iconic confirmation # after speaking with 3 Verizon reps so far. 11/7 scheduled ship date. If anybody wants to add me to the spreadsheet, feel free...

My 6+ SG 128GB is scheduled to ring my doorbell on Monday.

But since Thursday, there's been no apparent tracking progress. I think he's in a quantum singularity right now. :eek:

But everything that comes to my state via Indiana, Tennessee, or Philly always enters a black hole for a solid two days. I call it Georgia! ;):D
