Well just an update... My order, placed on 9/28 for (2) iPhone 6 64gb Space Gray models and (1) iPhone 6 Plus 128gb Space Gray model, which had a ship date of 10/31 still has not had any movement , according to their status page. When I called last week, I was assured delivery on 10/31; but I checked our account with FedEx and UPS and there are no scheduled deliveries for today. I think at this point, I'm going to cancel my order with Verizon and most likely switch carriers at this point. My last experience with their customer service center tells me they've really changed focus as a company, and now they are no different than any other carrier out there. Time to start price comparing again!


Well today has come and gone, no shipment or charge to my credit card; and now... Tonight I came home to find an e-mail from Verizon telling me they did not have enough stock to fulfill my order and my next expected ship date is now 11/21! Are you f'in kidding me? The new phones won't ship until 11/21 and I have to have my old devices back to Verizon by 12/1; over a holiday, where everything moves slower? WTF is all I can say... I am so steamed right now...

Okay, just needed to vent, thanks for listening! Good night...
 
My order was supposed to ship today and today I got an email that it shipped with a FedEx tracking number. Two hours later I got an email saying that my order could not be filled and that its pushed back to 11/7. What's the deal!?
 
Ordered iPhone 6+ Gold 9/30. Expected ship date of 10/31. Got home and found the email saying they didn't have enough in stock to fulfil it today so now my new expected ship date is 11/7. Im pretty sure I'll see movement next week and I'm just thankful I have it coming in the first place. No need to stress about something you can't control optimist > pessimist.
 
I have been trying to order and get 2 iPhone 6+'s since Sept 26. I have had to cancel and reorder based on Verizon's inability to do a simple change in credit card number do to a cancelled compromised card. Now Verizon doesn't have the ability to supply the phones when they promised you they would and now stick a date way out in the future. I only ordered from Verizon since they told me I could get $200 per phone trade in. Now they can't follow through with what they promised but I can get the exact phones at a local Apple store - IN STOCK. But, Verizon says if I buy them there NO trade in $$$. Since they can't produce the phones they should at least allow us to buy from the Apple store and still honor their trade in.

Its ok. If you already received a tracking number just keep checking it. The same thing happened to me, got the tracking number, then got the same e-mail saying my order could not be filled and was pushed back to 11/7.

I just kept checking and my phone is in Memphis and will be here Tuesday.
 
I just returned from the Las Vegas Town Square Apple Store which is the largest Apple Store in the state of Nevada. I spoke to the Store Assistant Manager. His comment was that basically istocknow.com is a BIG JOKE and is not at all accurate for Apple stores. How Apple operates or at least in the SW part of the US is that each day they receive a shipment The Invoice prints out to them at 5 am in the morning of what is coming in later that day on the truck and from what carrier. You MUST be in line at the Apple Store prior to 5am in the morning to get a ticket. At that time they will tell you if what you are looking for is on the list. If it is they give you a ticket to return after 5pm to stand in line again. You must be in line at 5 those not picked up but had gotten a ticket for rain check that morning prior to 5am can get a 2nd chance at 8:30 pm to purchase what did not get picked up earlier. Tonight there were still about 9 people in line waiting. I spoke with one of them and he had been coming down there for the last 9 days in a row at 5 am and the last 5 days waiting at night. He was also Verizon and was waiting for ANY 6 plus. Unfortunately I do NOT have the luxury of going down there prior to 5 am and returning at 5pm :eek: I stated that istocknow.com stated they had the SP 6+ 128 and he stated yes one had not been picked up yet but one of the people standing in line with a ticket will get it. So basically the first person waiting in the line if that is what they want will get it the rest are SOL and have to try doing it all over again tomorrow. Those waiting in line were prepared many had camp chairs with them and were just waiting for close to closing to see if they got lucky.
 
One other weird thing I want to mention is that both my iconic status that still states C still shows a ship date of 11/03 and when I call Verizon and listen to the automated it is still stating it will ship on 11/03. Could this have been a BIG error on Verizon's part for the push back to 11/07 ??? I have read that those with their iconic of S and tracking numbers got the same email.

Count me as one of the lucky one's I guess. 6 Plus - Silver - 64GB

Mine went through and got shipping info sent, but then few hours later got the same e-mail many others have posted, about limited stock and a delay. What made it strange was my shipping info didn't show up in Fedex system until little while ago. I think I just made the cut off. It will be here Tuesday, according to shipping info.

Its coming FedEx ground, and from Memphis my zip code is just on the edge of 1 day shipping, so I'm expecting 2 day and if it came Monday that would be great.

It seems the SG models in both sizes are taking the longest, and I am thinking I should have ordered the plus instead. So I am considering calling back to customer service and inquiring about switching my order to a different size/color combo like a silver plus. I wonder what effect that will have on my shipping date? Probably push it back even further which would be worse. Just curious if any of you have done this. Thanks

Yea I too ordered 64G 6 SG, changed my mind and then called back and ordered a 6+64G SG. My original expected ship date was 11/07, but changed to 11/14 with the new order. So pretty much whatever the site says at the time of your order.
 
I've had an experience similar to that with the iPhone 4s. It was ridiculous and it took us about four hours to get it fixed. at the end of the day the rep just simply was not educated. It was an easy fix in the system but a lot of the time they don't know what they are doing to be quite honest.

It should not take a brand-new phone to fix the problem you're having. I would really push that issue.

I mean think about that do you really think you're going to throw that phone away because of a problem in the system? It's not an issur with the phone!

I said that but somewhere in there system the phone has been activiated and once this happens the phone is not allowed to be on edge program again . It has to be use on 2 year plan. We talk to the headquarters for about 2 hours and nothing can be done. They said they will try to put a rush on the order. Does Bestbuy does Edge correct? I cant find one in my area though
 
Sorry to hear of some of these delays. In my case absolutely nothing is happening. SG 6 64 GB ordered 10.2 delivery 10.31. No emails, no cc charge, called Verizon yesterday and said it was still on time. She said they would send an email 48 hrs before shipping date if there were changes. I think the CSR experiences we all had are so random it's hard to know what's accurate. I will call again today and get an update which I will share here.

same thing they told me but i also recieved the 11/10 emai hopefully they are right! i think you ordered iphone 6 64gb SG right?
