Quick question for those that regularly use FedEx or would have more knowledge about this that I do. My phone currently says its at the destination sort facility in Pittsburgh. I am having the phone shipped to Ohio. So, will it be sent to my local FedEx facility tonight/in the morning then be put on a truck for delivery? Also, if I am not home when the delivery is attempted will they send it to my local facility or will it be sent back to pittsburgh? Pittsburgh is only about an hour from my house so its not that far but I have a facility 10 mins from my house.

if your scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, chances are it's already on its way to your local sort. Remember, it doesn't update the second it's scanned. So it should be on the truck for delivery tomorrow when you wake up. As far as where it would go, I would say again, your local sort facility, but I'm pretty sure fedex, ups, & usps leave a tag on your door that says they missed you, they'll try again tomorrow, & then they tell you where to get it if missed again

Thanks. It is scheduled for delivery tomorrow but odds are nobody will be there to sign for it. I tried to authorize them to leave it without a signature but they wouldn't do it so I am hoping I can pick it up at the local facility when I get home around 6:30.

I ordered my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray on Sunday, October 26 with an estimated ship date of Friday, November 14. Does anybody think that ship date seems a little too early?? Because Apple said 3-4 weeks and 3 weeks from Sunday,October 26 is Sunday, November 16. I hope I can have this phone by Thanksgiving (November 27)

It's really too hard to say. I ordered my wife's phone on 9/20 with an exp ship date of 10/20 and she got the phone on 10/8. I ordered my phone on 10/14 with an exp ship date of 10/24 and it was delayed til 11/10 but it's showing that it's shipping now. I would say that it's best to ignore exp ship dates and just get your phone when you get it. Lol

I've hung a note saying sorry I missed you, I am currently working, here is my signature, if you could leave it, I authorize you to leave it. Thanks. Sign it obviously. Sometimes drivers will leave it, sometimes they won't. Worth a shot.

Ya I agree, if you are looking for lost/stolen coverage then paying extra may be your best bet. However Square Trade and AppleCare+ don't offer that coverage. Now a days with Activation Lock, as long as you have Find My iPhone on, your iPhone would be useless to them anyways. Ive had several friends get their stolen then it randomly gets turned in later as the person realized they aren't going to be able to use it.

Good points. I am re-thinking the Verizon insurance. We have three phones on it and that adds up. The insurance that Verizon sells has a very high deductible on iPhones. For a 32GB 5s, the deductible is $200. Not sure what it would be for a 64GB 6 plus. The Verizon insurance doesn't have a great reputation as well. The phone they send you needn't be an exact replacement and the condition of that phone can vary. Add that to $240 in payments over 2 years and you have a lot of money. We make $720 in insurance payments every 2 years. That would cover one complete replacement of a smartphone every two years.

Just went to Best Buy they has 128 GB in the 2 phones I ordered 34 days ago and the took our old iPhone 5 and gave use $442 for our 2 iphone 5's $42s more than Verzon was going to give us and they appraised and gave us give cards for i store credit which we applied to out new phones. So easy love my new iPhone
Canceled my Verizon preorder right before we activated our new phones :apple::apple::D:D

I have an S! I have an S!!! Omg finally the wait is over!! it must have changed in the last hour.
6plus 64gb silver, ordered 9/30 exp shp dt 10/31, then when I pulled it on iconic a week and a half ago it said exp shp dt 11/3 which was confirmed by a vrz rep, got email friday that it was pushed back to 11/7 but the date on iconic never changed from 11/3.

Does anyone know what ErrorCode -2 means? One of the five phones I've ordered has an S but the others have a B and the Verizon page says payment not taken yet.

The B means there was a problem with your payment, call verizon asap. This is what I know from this thread and people who have gotten the same.

Does anyone else have an order that appears, for lack of better word, frozen? I still have an iconic ship date of 10/31/2014 and I've never gotten any emails stating my phone was pushed back. I tried to talk to Verizon and was completely stonewalled.

if you feel comfortable you can write a note and stick it to the outside of your door. SIGN THE NOTE! theyll take the note and leave the package and use that as a signature as if you were home

Is the same for a large business account that is supposed to bill the phone to the account? Thanks.

I had a 31st date also. On the 31st I got the email pushing it back to the 21st of Nov. After waiting a month and then being told to wait 3 more weeks, I just cancelled my order on the spot. Then I went online to find that a bunch of apple stores within a half an hour from my house had them in stock.

Hello lovely people! I am happily Swyping this on my iPhone 6+ 64GB Silver. It was dropped off this morning around 9:30 EST, but didn't require a signature. If I didn't live off the road, I would have felt worried about it not requiring the signature. It was actually easier to get use to the bigger phone than I thought. I have small hands, so Swype makes typing one handed easier for me. Any doubts I had of not liking the size disappeared once I actually got my hands on it in person compared to messing with a store display. This has definitely been an experience and a long one at that. I do wish everybody luck with getting theirs! May the wait actually be shorter for y'all!:)

Ditto. Typing from my Silver 6+ 64GB. Took forever, but well worth the wait. Been on it for about 3 straight hrs battery down to only 75%

Takes some getting used to but I think apple kept the ergonomics of the phone so that it feels really familiar to the smaller version. Good luck everyone, on a 2 year contract now so until the iPhone 7 launch in 2016...

From what I have found out about my B orders Verizon's system saw the 5 separate orders of the same phone on the same card as a duplicate charge so I had to use 4 more cards to complete the order of the phones over the phone tonight.

I really don't know if it's the same for business. :(

Thank you both for replying. I've sent an email to our account manager asking him to call in the morning. I've been waiting since the order was placed on Oct 1st for an iPhone 6+ 64gb silver. Would hate to have to restart the clock on the shipping date. Originally was suppose to ship by 10/31. Then got pushed back to 11/03 and when I finally see a change in iconic there may be an issue. Wow. Can it really be this hard to get a phone???

When I called to fix the issue they didn't bump my orders so I think you should be good.

Where can I find the letter on Iconic? I do not see a C, or an S on my listing. Only a "D" which precedes some numbers on the "ACE Order Location"

Thanks!
