Just called to cancel my pre order and the rep told me any orders placed between 3am-4:55am eastern will be delivered September 19th. LOL I laughed and said uh huh..I'm sure.

That's gotta be the best thing I read all day! LOL

Heres my situation I haven't seen this one posted yet, maybe it will be of some help.

New Verizon customer, chose the Edge route for contract. Nothing is due up front so I didn't have to use my card.

Finished order at 1:02 AM MST (screen shot the deliver by 9/19 portion of the screen)

Received confirmation email at 2am MST with "deliver by 9/19/2014"

iPhone 6+ 64 Silver.


Also since I'm a new customer I don't have a VZW login, so I just check the order status page. Order status changed from "sent for processing" to "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow." Nothing has changed yet today on it.

I did EDGE, but with down payment. So I'm waiting for that charge to go through.

I added a line to the wife's account and pre-ordered, or so I thought. Everything looked right, except theres no trace of this new line or phone purchase on her online account. I know I've got a phone, new phone number, tracking, and all that jazz, but her online verizon account has zero trace of me ever adding a line or buying the phone.

Don't worry about it,I ordered 2 new lines,same thing,one has already shipped. And in the past similar ,they don't usually show up till you get the phone and activate it.

I got this now, and my credit card was charged, (was charged $529.99 less the 75 sales tax for some reason). Is everyone not getting tax charged?? Has anyone had tax charged??

If you check the other status page it will have changed too, it now reads

Same here, have an order number showing up on the status page and card was charged. I didn't see a charge for tax however on either the 6 or the 6+. But them charging the card means they have it more than likely in stock.

Did anyone else charge their Verizon account and NOT pay with a credit card? I got a conformation email for a 9/19 delivery as well as a 9/19 delivery when I check my order, but still no tracking number. Just curious...

When I ordered I didn't have that option. Only option was to use a card.

I ordered a silver 64gb iPhone 6+. Order like 95000. Confirmation email says 9/19 but still haven't seen a charge from my debit card and nothing on VZW website. Hope to wake up tomorrow and see a change.

Same here, have an order number showing up on the status page and card was charged. I didn't see a charge for tax however on either the 6 or the 6+. But them charging the card means they have it more than likely in stock.

I hope so I made my order at 11:57pm 9/11 order # 1040xx ! If they don't have it stock I'll be pretty pissed.

P.S. Isn't it awesome that a product can come along and make us all feel like a kid at Christmas again? I'm 37 and I totally feel like I did when I was a kid waiting for a Nintendo to be under the Xmas tree.

My order confirm came around 5am with shipment arrival date 9/19. 11am fri email from fraud division. After a 45min wait finally verified with the lady and confirmed she said she will process the order. I should get a email in a hour or so. Email never came. When i look up the ref # on Verizon.com it shows. Expected shipment not available at this time. Should i just be patient and wait? My card has not got any charges yet. I called back and the rep told me wait till mon for the systems to update. Any advice or info? Thanks

The same happened to me. No email after confirming with the anti fraud dept.

Update! Card was charged and my order status went from saying nothing to "Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow." So that has to be a good thing!

Same happened to me. I called Friday morning and after we talked she put my order through. She didn't mention anything about an email though. However, my card was just charged and my order status finally changed. I'd say just be patient and check tomorrow!

I too have a professional office job ... That I start at 8:00 going to 5:30. I stood in line last year at 5am, and was out by or before 8. I also work across the street from the First Apple store opened so there is always that . I preordered to I am simply thinking of a solution that causes me to keep my preorder in the event I can't get a phone that day.

Ah, okay, well you're lucky! We don't have an Apple Store in my town and the closest Verizon store is 35 minutes from my office. Gotta love living in a rural area! Anyway, our Verizon store doesn't open until either 9 or 10 am. Maybe I'll call to see if they're open earlier as if I could get out of the store by 8 I would definitely be on time. LOL! Kinda sad the lengths a middle aged woman will go through to get this phone, huh?

So, if I have the pre-order and it hasn't shipped yet then I would be able to cancel the pre-order when I pick up the new phone, if they have enough stock on the 6 Plus! Hopefully?

Been lurking this thread for a day or so, figured I'd share my update. I upgraded an existing Edge plan to a 128 gold + at about 5 minutes after pre orders opened. Confirmation said 9/19, online showed 10/7, then no date, same as most. A little over 2 hours ago I was charged and status changed to check back tomorrow. Seems there's been a trend of that the last few hours, must be some batch processing. No shipping yet, but based on others seems like I'm in the right direction.

I've also called in a few times. Been told each time it wont charge until it starts moving through shipping, so I'm feeling pretty good! If these assumptions are correct, any ideas certain device types won't be available are pretty much shot dead, as I ordered the 128 gold + and based on last year if there were one device to have stock issues with it'd be this one. Good luck to everyone!

Update:

I pre-ordered the 6 plus around 3:40am from Verizon's site after trying unsuccessfully for 40 minutes to order from Apple (ie using Apple on-line store and iphone app). Got an e- mail from Verizon at 4:52am with a pre-confirmation number and a deliver by date of 9/19. however, when I click on the order status link in the e-mail & paste my pre-confirmation number in to check the status, get the "We've received your order and it's in process" & " expected ship date not available at this time" messages. Amex has a $1 charge pending. It's still that way as of now.

The fact that people who ordered the 6 from Verizon are seeing the 9/19 date on the order status page, some are seeing the credit card charged, some are receiving tracking numbers.......while I don't see any of this happening for those who ordered the 6 plus.....has me concerned the 9/19 deliver by dates in the 6plus confirmation e-mails are bogus! I'm not holding out much hope at the moment any of us who ordered the 6plus from Verizon will get one on the 19th.

Finally some movement on my order status page. It just changed in the last couple of hours (between 10pm and midnight on 9/14). My status now reads:

"Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow."

Plus, there is a pending charge that just showed up on my Amex for the entire amount. And I didn't have faith in the system!!!!!! We'll, I guess I was wrong. I'm feeling pretty optimistic at this point I'll have the 6 Plus by 9/19.

You will get it on the 19th. Exactly how mine was processed. I guarantee by morning if you check you order status, there will be a tracking number. Congrats!

I've received two email today stating my pre orders have cancelled. Did any of you guys edge up on verizon? If so did you agree to the terms while ordering? Or did you get a separate email needing to accept the agreement?

I got my FEDEX tracking # yesterday with a 9/19 delivery.

I called Verizon today to double check the shipping address and the Rep told me that I could receive my iPhone as early as Wednesday because they had received an extra batch.

I have never pre-ordered so I was wondering if anyone else ever received an iPhone earlier than the release date?

It would be awesome but I am not getting my hopes up.

You will not receive on Wednesday. Guaranteed. Apple requires delivery companies to hold until friday. So even if your phone makes it to your local sorting facility on wednesday, it will sit there until Friday.

My card was charged the total amount (including tax and upgrade fee).
