my card was charged around 8:34 cst for the amount of my iPhone 6 plus. verizon also updated my order information. it says your order is currently being processed. please check back later.

at least now i have more peace of mind now that i know my card was charged. ill feel even more better when i get my tracking number

Unfortunately, I was unable to order my iPhone 6 from Verizon until today (silver, 64gb). Per VZW's website, my phone will deliver by 10/14.

I'm sure this has been discussed before in the thread, but what do you think are the chances Verizon's stores will have this model in stock on release day? As with everyone else, I would love to have a phone sooner then 1 month from now, so I am wondering the chances of being able to visit a store, pick up a phone, and cancel my pre-order.

I've never gotten an iPhone near its release before so I don't have any experience regarding the initial release date stock at carrier stores.

I did this exact thing when I bought my 4s. I pre-ordered online. A friend at work told me he called several different stores and they all had stock in one form or another. I went after work. They didn't have the color/size I wanted, but I just switched to the other color. They went ahead and canceled my online order (after a bit of fumbling through their system) and I was on my way with a new phone.

I've received two email today stating my pre orders have cancelled. Did any of you guys edge up on verizon? If so did you agree to the terms while ordering? Or did you get a separate email needing to accept the agreement?

I used edge too. I accepted the terms during the ordering process and accidentally ordered a 64gb first and then the 128gb like I wanted.

I have two agreements pending now but only one phone ordered and shipped

Yes many people have gotten shipping info, myself included, but only for those who had an email confirmation with a delivery date of 9/19. No 10/7's that I have seen yet.

Hey, guys! First time posting here, but I thought I'd share some info.

I ordered my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Gold from VZW just minutes after 12:00 on the 12th. I received my confirmation email at 12:43am the same day, confirming my ship date to be 9/19.

Around 6am on the 12th, my order status on the VZW website changed to 10/7, and I kind of panicked, then around noon the same day, it changed to unavailable. I called and spoke to a Verizon rep and confirmed my order, and they said my delivery date was within the 9/19 range. (Thank goodness!)

I've been checking my order status constantly all weekend and finally....

Tonight I checked my status and it changed to "Your order is now being processed. Please check back tomorrow.", I can no longer cancel my order and my card has been charged $529.99. (Yipee!)

I went through old emails from when I preordered the iPhone 5, and the only email I received after the initial confirmation was four days after the day I ordered and it included my ship date and tracking info and I got my phone around 4pm on the release date.

Soooo... If there is a similarity with this release, we should be getting an email around Tuesday with tracking info, especially if the payment has been initiated.

Some extra info, I'm in Southern California, LA area, with an order location of: W779001, I had the same order location for the iPhone 5 release.

I'll keep posting if I get any more info!

I have a question regarding the Verizon Edge program. I have a 2 year contract that ends on 5/31/2015 with my Galaxy Note 3. I used the early upgrade with the Edge plan to buy the iPhone 6 Plus. I ordered through verizonwireless.com and already have shipment notification for 9/19. However, I never seen anything throughout the ordering process or after checking out that I need to return my Note 3 from the 2 year contract. How do I find out if I need to return this phone as part of my new Edge agreement or if I can keep it?

If you look at your confirmation email and it says 9/19 delivery date then you should get it on that day. People who ordered 6's don't have much to worry about.

Thanks! I was hoping that those of us with 10/7 dates might just see some Verizon love and actually get them 9/19, however I would have to say at this point it is not looking likely.

It is going to be very interesting to see how long the 6+'s last in the stores on release day. If I am digesting all the messages correctly, it seems like they may be in short supply. Anyone think we might be hearing stories of 6+'s gone within minutes of opening?

It's entirely possible. I really do not know much about VZW's logistics, but my gut instinct tells me that our ACE location hasn't processed anything yet .. or at least not as fast as the other locations that have already sent out tracking information.

I'm hoping they will take our money in the next 24hrs and update our orders in the system

I could have pre-ordered the gold and gotten it on release date, but while I like the gold iPhone 5s, I find the gold iPhone 6 to be rather unappealing.

I'm not particularly willing to go for a different storage amount (16GB is too small for me), so we'll see if any Verizon stores near me have the 64GB silver model on Friday.

Who is canceling their pre-orders to pick up the day of the iPhone launch?

Ordered a space grey 128 GB iPhone 6+ and they completed the order 8 AM PST/ 11 AM EST and this seems like this would be the best plan of action.

What do you guys think?

Oh! Good news! No charge yet, no receipt yet and no status update yet, but a new message popped up in the My Verizon Notification Center!:

"Your new device has been detected. Start My Media Retrieval."

This makes me believe that a phone has been picked out of the bunch for me and the ESN has been registered to my account. I don't think I'll be able to sleep at all tonight. I'll be too anxious and keep refreshing my credit card account.

Well technically speaking estimated shipping and delivery dates are not the same thing. But in Verizons worlds they are pretty much the same lol. I would look for your order to be delivered on the 19th. Especially because it is a 6 and not a 6+. When I placed my order it said estimated delivery 9/19 and in a different place on the verizon website it said estimated shipping 9/19. My order has since shipped and will be delivered on the 19th. I also ordered a gold 6.
