I ordered the same phone about 15 minutes into preorders and got a 10/14 ship date on the confirmation email. That's about all the info I have at this point. I have a hard time believing that all of that particular model sold out in 15 minutes

15 minutes? how about -3 minutes from the official preordering time. I ordered mine at 11:57pm, not even the 12th yet. In my email confirmation it said delivery date by 10/14/2014.
Online status went from 10/14/2014 to 09/19/2014 to Not available...
Oh wow! Hopefully it was a fluke then and they'll figure it out tomorrow and update our shipping dates to 9/19! I started my order around 11:57 (about 1:57 in my local time) but had some complications and couldn't finish the order until about 12:15 or so and the confirmation email didn't get to me until about 2:30 and it said 10/14. I called and the rep told me that as long as you ordered between 3:00 and 6:00 EST (if I recall correctly) that you're guaranteed to get your phone on the 19th but I just don't see that as being possible because that's a huge time gap for them to know for sure. Only time will tell I suppose :/
I purchased an iPhone 6 16GB Space Gray at full retail price ($649.99) and paid with my credit card. The phone already shipped and should be here on Friday.
My credit card was charged today for $649.99. So for some reason, I wasn't charged sales tax. Looks like this happened to other users as well. I'm assuming they will be tacking on that charge on the next monthly bill?

My friend works at the Huntington Beach, CA verizon store, he told me they will have the 6 and very limited amounts on the 6+, but even the amount of the 6 could change. They will know for sure by wednesday how many they get. If i don't get my shipping notification by wednesday ill cancel it and make line like i do every year.

The time frame/gap doesn't apply to the 6+. They have very limited stock of it AND they didn't expect so much demand for it.

I ordered one, and received a shipping confirmation this weekend. I guess I'm one of the lucky few.
Just to all the people that plan to cancel... Do it and move the more patient people up the queue.

If you don't mind me asking, when did you order your case? I purchased mine the 12th and I'm not supposed to receive it until next Monday-Wednesday.
My 16GB Gold iPhone 6 Plus was just charged to my card! VZW site says to check back tomorrow for tracking info. Deliver by date remains 09/19!
I'm no longer getting an error when checking my order in My Verizon. Still no shipping info, but theres still time for it to show up there.
I ordered a iPhone6+ 64gb Space Grey a few seconds after 3:01am on Verizon site and have received tracking number and shipping verification.

Were are you located ? I'm in New Jersey and I ordered my phone the same time. Still no info for me yet.
Woke up this morning to find everything processed and showing a ship date of 9/14 with tracking numbers. Order 2x 6 16GB Space Gray. When I click the tracking number in order status, it takes me to the FedEx website, but my tracking numbers are both UPS numbers starting with 1Z, anyone else have this happen?
Yep, got the same thing too for my 6 16GB Space Gray. The numbers didn't work when I tried them on UPS either. My ship date is 9/18 now too.
If you go into myverizon under order status, it will show your recent order history. Everything is correct in there, reflects correct tracking numbers and the links to the numbers take you to the UPS site. My numbers don't show any activity as of yet and reflects a ship date of 9/18.
Well verizon finally charged my account and this morning I finally have a tracking number but when I click on it, FedEx takes forever to load then when it does, the tracking box is empty. Even when I type in the tracking number it disappears and says invalid number. I'm wondering if we are overloading fedex. I ordered the 6 Plus silver. Verizon says my ship date was the 14th? My tracking number also starts with 1Z. Also I am upgrading my line if that helps any.

Haven't been able to access that page since Friday. It tells me they're experiencing issues.
This usually means the shipping label has been printed but FedEx/UPS themselves have not scanned/received the label yet, so Verizon will know what your tracking number is and give it to you, but FedEx/UPS does not yet know about the package. Give it 24 hours FedEx will have the package and start reporting information. You'll be fine.
