VZW Order Status Thread

So, my question is why was I able to get a 9/19 delivery date when others were not? Is it because I ordered the 128GB? I do work for a large company and my account gets a good discount on my monthly rate from their Apple partnership (though no discount on the device). Is it possible that they kept a reserve set of devices for people buying through corporate partnerships? keep in mind that this is my own account, not a corporate account...I just get a corporate discount.

It's because you ordered the 6 and not the 6+. Most of the late shipping estimates are for the Plus model.

The problem has been with the iP6+ not the regular iP6. I haven't looked today but as of last night the iP6 128GB was still availble for delivery on the 19th on Verizons website. Apparently not as many people want the storage, I know I do, that is the one I got.

Patiently waiting for this case (in "Poppy Petal") to become available. I know I'm going to be so nervous having my phone out of a case while I wait haha but it seems worth it.

Anyone else get a UPS tracking number? Find it very odd since I've only gotten stuff from Verizon by fedex.
 
What the heck number do I call to check status / cancel a pre-order with a new line of service I had ordered on Friday? Tried a couple of them and could never get through to someone.

I think it's because you ordered a 6 and not a 6 plus

I've had stuff shipped from Verizon via UPS (a case or two if I recall a few years ago), its normal for them to use multiple shipping partners to keep the deliveries balanced somewhat.
 
Date changed to "Order Processing"

I have checked my Grey 6+ shipping date a couple of times a day since ordering it Friday morning at 08:30 at the Verizon store. I was sort of hoping it would move a little sooner :(

Until today it showed a delivery date of 10/21.

Now it's showing "We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time. "

I got an Otter Box Defender - I know, a bit bulky, but I've used them for years and they've always worked well for me; considering I paid retail for this sucker, last thing I need to do it drop it and watch it explode in front of me.

They reprocessed my order today and are ensuring I'll have my 6+/128gb/space gray by Friday.

I'm confident in it ... there's basically a 'special ops' team inside VzW that handles fallout and that's who did the reorder... those guys are ON IT.

Happy once I knew which department did the cancel/reorder ... all good.

Mine was cancelled and then subsequently reordered as well. Just curious, what date does your status list on the Verizon website? Mine says 10/28 which is technically the current shipping date for the same model if I ordered right now.
 
Order 64gb 6+ at 3:02am EST. Confirmation email with deliver by date of 9/19 received at 3.58am EST.

Notification from bank at 10.29am EST on 9/13 that my debit card had been charged. But no notification from VZW. Status page just gives me this ...

Mine says 11/4 currently, but the folks I spoke with assured me it'll ship in time for 9/19. As I recall, you were the other person that had a 9/12 delivery date in your original confirmation, yes?

We'll be fine - I'm sure of that. Just a question of getting the system updated, but they're doing the right thing by us - as they said, it was their mistake ...

All good ...

Same exact thing has happened to me. However, my wife's phone which I ordered about 1:45am MST has tracking info. Both where 6 + 64gb silver.

Same thing I am going through except I got my order in at 3:01AM EST.

Nope. That seems to be the status it changes to before it ships

Mine are coming via UPS as well. I have the tracking #, but it is still not in UPS's database, so I have no idea where it will be shipping from.

No, that is a good thing. When it says it was "sent for processing", that means it will ship soon.

I figure it won't show up in the UPS system until they actually scan it after picking up from Verizon
