Makes one wonder how many 6 plus models the carriers actually have for the 19th delivery. If Apple had 4 million preorders, and most of the Plus models were sold out within the first 10 minutes, while the 6 model was not, one has to think each carrier at best got 50,000 units and that may be high. My order number was 78XXX while people with order number 200,000 are waiting longer for the PLUS. I don't think Verizon differentiates their order number between the 6 and 6 PLUS so there were probably plenty of 6 orders ahead of me.

Friday minutes after 12:01am PST. I delayed myself trying to see which site would be better to pre-order from, Apple or VZW. Verizon was the obvious choice hah.
I will probably get my phone friday no matter what the delivery date says.

The earliest orders kinda "fell out" - which is why my original preorder was cancelled.
They reprocessed my order today and are ensuring I'll have my 6+/128gb/space gray by Friday.
I'm confident in it ... there's basically a 'special ops' team inside VzW that handles fallout and that's who did the reorder... those guys are ON IT.
Happy once I knew which department did the cancel/reorder ... all good.

I was able to pull up the new ACE order and location code and it's all looking right.
I also made a phone call to someone on the inside (it's good to know people) and they checked it for me - I'm good to go.
No concerns on my end.
I just talked to a verizon rep and he told me that iphone plus gold 64gb that were ordered between 3 am and 7 am will be shipped "BY" oct 7
Why did pre orders fallout? I had two pre orders cancelled yesterday and re pre ordered last night.

I ordered one during that time and I should have it Friday. They charged my card but haven't gotten shipping info yet.
Does anyone find it srrange that I ordered 2 iphone 6 + 64gb in silver. Payment has been processed for both but the 2nd order has tracking info while the first one does not. I placed the 2nd order about 30 minutes after the first one on the 12th.

Does anyone else have an order number in the 2 millions (22XXXXX)? I ordered 2 16gb iPhone 6+'s at 2:11am Central Time. Got the confirmation email at 2:35am. My order status online says October 14th ship date . Hoping it get's here earlier. I just haven't seen any order numbers that high on here, not sure why it is since I ordered so early...

The crappy part for me is, I am transferring from AT&T this order so as of now, I have no Verizon account to check. I can only stare at the pre-order status page.

Late order but I got 9/19 delivery...why?
I was very stupid and forgot to order my iphone at midnight when they went on sale for preorder (even though I was up until 2:00am). I woke up at 7:30 and thought "crap, I forgot to order". I logged on to verizon site and ordered a silver iphone 6 with 128GB. To my surprise the response said I had an estimated delivery date of 9/19. I assumed their inventory was just not up to date, but I received an email confirmation with tracking info for my order showing 9/19 deliver date.
So, my question is why was I able to get a 9/19 delivery date when others were not? Is it because I ordered the 128GB? I do work for a large company and my account gets a good discount on my monthly rate from their Apple partnership (though no discount on the device). Is it possible that they kept a reserve set of devices for people buying through corporate partnerships? keep in mind that this is my own account, not a corporate account...I just get a corporate discount.

Oh, I ordered the 64GB gold iP6+
i just called verizon and they said my phone was "on the verge of being shipped, should be picked up by fedex today" not sure if i believe them or not because i dont see the order status anywhere on the web and my confirmation email said 10/7. oh well, i guess we will see later today.
