Verizon just cancelled my order. Saying I was not eligible to "Edge" up. Mind you, I was grandfathered into the 50% edge-up bracket.

On the phone with verizon and they said "we can reprocess the order". I was supposed to have it on the 19th. I'm so pissed off right now.
 
Pre-ordered my 6+128GB at just before midnight, got the confirmation e-mail at 12:11 showing a delivery date of 9/19.

As of this time, no shipping confirmation, card has not been charged. Order Status shows "We received your order and it is in process." with an expected ship date of "Not available at this time."

The other order status page () shows an order number of around 100000 with an order location of W781001.

So, when should I call Verizon to ensure I receive it on Friday?

I had a lot of issues upgrading through the Verizon portal, but was able to complete around 2:00 am MST. Delivery is estimated for 10/7.
 
Login to vzw using the phone number you upgraded on. On the left hand side you should see Manage My Device under that you should see Check Order Status at the bottom. This is where I got the most up to date information including tracking number. I was also able to call 1 800 922 0204 to get shipping information and tracking number sent to my phone also.

Verizon could have made it simple like in the past and made the order number correspond with what time you placed an order. I ordered around 3:10AM EST and had an order number 58XXX. But I have seen people order before me with order numbers in the millions. I wonder if the order number has to do with what type of iphone you ordered along with what region you ordered from (PST, EST, etc.)
 
Maybe they counted down with the Order number. Like had 2.5 mil available and the later your ordered it the lower your number went due to other orders
 
Just received a tracking # for my iPhones. A 128gb gold 6+ and a 64gb gold 6+!!!

When did you order, what were the first three or four digits of your order number? I'm waiting on info on my 64 GB gold 6+....... Order number 2108***, ordered ~3:45 am.

Indirect Signature

Got my FedEx tracking number from Verizon today for Friday 9/19 delivery. Can I leave a handwritten note to satisfy 'indirect signature' requirement since I won't be home?
 
It's pretty clear that most folks who ordered a regular 6 will be receiving them on Friday as promised.

Got an email last night with a FedEx tracking number for my phone (128GB Grey 6)... set for delivery Friday.

Had to have them hold it at the local distribution hub (around corner from my office) instead of trying to deliver it (won't be home till 5pm to sign for it). No problem. Will be at the hub at 9am when they open to pick up the phone.

My Verizon Response.

I know many of you have been receiving positive tracking information. I wish I was one of them. :) I wanted to express my disappointment with the lack of support from Verizon. I decided to take part in the iPhone 6 preorder Friday Morning. I got my order in at 2:14am Central or 12:14 pacific. This was only 14 min into the preorder. I took screen captures of the summary page and of the status of the model when I placed the order. For some reason there was an error with my order. This error had nothing to do with my side but rather Verizon. Our account page indicates a 9/19 delivery but at 12:57pm on Friday we received an email saying that the date was 10/21. I have been trying to get an answer since Friday afternoon and this was the response that I got back. I can understand making mistakes but the unwillingness to make things right is what frustrates me the most.

When I go to "Check Order Status" it does this and has done it ever since I placed my order on Friday :/ anyone else still get that or have that issue at any point over the past few days? It's so frustrating that they can't/aren't fixing it :mad:

When did you try edging up? I've had terrible luck the past few days with Verizon. Friday morning i added a line to my account and pre ordered under edge and yesterday afternoon I received a email saying my order was cancelled. So I called verizon and they weren't able to give a reason why it was cancelled. So I decided I was just going to edge up my line and they helped me through the process of pre ordering again. And what do you know, 3 hours later my order was cancelled again. Call verizon back and still didn't have a reason why. So last night I pre ordered again by edging up my line and have not received a cancellation email yet. I wouldn't doubt that I get another one.
 
My order was listed as cancelled. Called Verizon, immediately asked for a manager. Manager gave me the tracking #. Still don't trust them. I don't know how I could have a tracking # with a cancelled order.

Device is listed as "in transit" under fedex.

I get the exact same screen. No updates to my status through the other order status sites posted as well.

I keep getting the same screen! Glad I'm not the only one (but i'm sorry you are getting that too)

My Edge order was complete at 3:02 AM EST on 9/12.

I have my Edge contract here and everything. I've been on hold for around 20 minutes as they keep consulting other departments to solve my issue.
 
I have enjoyed reading through all of this – well, a lot of it. I have always been a guy that waits in line to get the new toy, but decided this time to preorder. To tell you the truth, I think this has been more frustrating! I am, though, confident my phone will arrive sometime Friday. My story –

I thought it would be easiest to order from the Apple store on my iPad, but since it was down I grabbed my laptop and pulled up the Verizon site. I was logged in and ready to go a few minutes before 3:00 am, and it actually let me start the order process about 2:55. By 3:05 I had my 6+ 64 gb gold phone ordered. I am replacing my iPhone 5. (Must admit I was going to order a silver, but I must have forgotten to change the default, so now I will have what my wife is calling a “bling phone.” I noticed it right before I hit the last button, and I sure wasn’t going to go back and start again. I have a case ordered, so no biggie).

My confirmation email arrived at 4:15 am:

When I checked my order status through the link (using the preorder confirmation number), it said my order was processed but shipping information was not available at this time. It stayed that way until Sunday night. When I went on MyVerizon, it said I had no orders. I was a little worried until I found this forum.

Sunday night I checked MyVerizon again and my order showed up – but no real details.

A bit screwed up on the dates. When I clicked the link for “complete order details” it showed my correct order date of 9/12 and the same info above.

I got a shipment notification email Monday at noon:

Monday afternoon, on MyVerizon, I clicked “complete order details” and I saw a different page that showed my tracking number, date shipped as 9/14 and that it was sent via UPS 2nd Day Air EOD. (I assume EOD stands for end of day). I was going to copy/paste it here, but in the time it took to type this it is gone! I signed in to My Verizon again, hit the link, and now it says:

We do not have a record of Order Number 134----. Please try again later.

Are we having fun yet? Oh well, I still believe my bling phone will arrive via UPS on Friday. I personally like Verizon and was with T-Mobile for 8 years before I switched (believe it or not!). But – it is plain to see that their systems cannot handle this kind of volume. It’s a surprise to me that they can be this screwed up. Good luck everyone!!

Yep, same issue. Very frustrating. Fortunately the other Order Status checkers work for me.

Same thing just happened to me! But I don't know why they canceled my order! I wasn't grandfathered into anything.

This is EXACTLY what I get in MyVerizon! I am glad I am not the only one, I keep going back in and checking like every hour and it's not changing. :mad:
