I can read chinese, I try to translate it here, and sorry for my English..

I met a friend who works in Quanda, if you don't know Quanda please search it using Baidu(similar with google).
he is working on the MBP in the workshop. my computer is almost scraped. he just told me some message,
I know many FY(guys with same interest about Apple products, met in a forum - weiphone.com, like us in this thread.) are tired of waiting, I share these messages here.

First, I don't know the exactly release date, I am not the one whoes closest people works in Qunda, I just made a friend with this guy, blabla..
personally I think the message from foundation supply chain or OEM is more reliable, blabla...

the mold is changed, 100% confirmed. this guy is in charging of MBP13, and currently the MBP13 is in volume production stage, they have 3 product lines and could produce 3000+ aday, mold is changed, the biggest feature of MBP13 is thinner, but battery life is bad (or not good), no touch ID and OLED Bar,100% confirmed. the CPU is skylake, 1 headphone jack, yes there is headphone jack, 2 Type C. the battery is redesigned, and 2 explosion happened in the week before last week during the pilot production, which slow down the produce. however he said the problem was fixed now and volume production is started.

I often visit this forum, and several days ago, a guy here said that beside the MBP13 and MBP15, there is another 13 inch MacBook(with fan, not pro) will be released at Oct. (I remember he said that this 13 inch MacBook was planed to be released at Sep. but was cancelled at the last moment, and it would be released at Oct.) so I double confirmed with the guy working in Quanda, was he talking about the MBP 13 or the 13-inch new MB ? he said it's MBP13 definitly, because there is "pro" printed in the mac body. If there is only 2 Type C, I would be so upset and have nothing to say. As for MBP15, I asked him some question too, but he is not in charging of MBP15, he just heard from his colleague that there is touch ID and OLED Bar for MBP15, but he didn't know anybody who was working on the MBP15, so he think the MBP15 is still in pilot production stage.
Thanks for translating. If it is true it will be interesting to see what comes out in October. Although it does not sound good with the battery life (and exploding batteries!)

I would be kinda happy if I got to keep the F-keys as they are now. I don't mind the new home button on the iPhone 7 but it might be a pain to hunt for the F-keys without feeling them.

Thanks for that Info. I must say though I don't like - if all of that turns out to be true - that Apple is segmenting the market with that stupid OLED bar. Either it's really useful (which I doubt) and bring it to every Mac, Keyboard, Laptop in your product lineup or it's not and you should leave it out.

I don't think anyone would buy the 15" FOR the OLED bar, rather then put up with it because they have to. Also 2x USB C and 1x headphone jack sounds really lame to me for a 13 pro. It would rather fit the 13 Retina Macbook.

As the past couple of hundred pages we'll just have to wait and see.

As much as I love Apple products but pushing all of this to 2017, maybe June even and THEN coming out with something sub-par is the stupidiest thing they could do really.

Wasn't the prototype shown a while ago [that got everyone so excited] a 13"? Unless they have managed to really reduce the bezel and house the old 15" into a more compact case, as it showed the OLED strip. If this happened I may be all over that.

Basically I have no idea what I will be getting until I see them, so will shut up saying what I will get :)

Also. I know all of us are getting naive and grasping for anything.

But this is a rumor from a random guy, stumbling upon a random factory guy on the street, ending up talking about the MBP. In a country w >1.357 billion citizens. Correct?

RELIABLE!

I believe they are describing a 13"mb and not the pro and both pro models will have the OLED strip. However will keep an open mind until they are released.

What does that guy mean by " The 15 inch mbp is still in pilot production stage"? Does that mean it will be a while until it comes out? Or is it close to releasing

It means that the 15 will release later than the 13 which is already late in terms of October, as it shoudlve been released in June. Now heres where it gets better, we dont know for sure if the 13 comes out in October, therefore that means the 15 might be way off into the UKNOWN o_O.

TL;DR: IT doesnt mean **** until Timmy walks onto that stage himself, and has the bald british guy seduce you through his voice.

3000+ a day capability seems relatively low. Unless they've already been pumping these out for awhile already which I doubt. We wouldn't see much stock avalible for an October release.

Around page 45, do I get a cookie ?? :D

LOLs , this was meant OCTOBER 2015 ...
Let's hope he at least got the October part right
Yeah. October 2017

stop with the damn kabylake sh**. people are tired of explaining why there won't be kabylake macbook pros this year and to those asking why should start reading back 500 pages and stop asking worthless questions

Nobody is going to read back hundreds of pages of worthless padding to get the thread to the magic 1000 pages. :) Unfortunately anything of value posted here has been lost in all the whining and trying to get it to some pointless number of pages.

I'm getting tired of reading people talk like they know for a fact exactly what processors Apple will use.
Think like I do.

Y, because we're just guessing right? It's not like Intels roadmap is believable or even plausible. And Apples history does'nt mean anything, they switch between H and U class every other generation..

stupid..

That sort of attitude will get you very far in life. Very far in the wrong direction.
Consider the possibility that you could be wrong. Always.

Please, enlighten me on how the total number of inhabitants of a country diminishes someones reliability, Mr. Art Director?
