Two questions to let time flow:

· considering confirmed the 4 USB-C ports, how do you think to manage with them? I'm pretty sure they'll launch an Apple-super-expensive-mega-dongle like this. Sad but (almost) true.

· about the OLED bar: how will it be possible to make it work with bootcamp and windows drivers?

On the adapter I'm not sure if we'll see any new stuff they already have some USB C dongles available, like this Type C/Type A adapter and this multi port adapter I think they will leave anything else to third parties.

On the OLED bar, I would imagine there would have to be basic function key support in Bootcamp but I would imagine anything that is context specific will probably only be supported in OSX

just got this in my mail if anyone interesting.. Razer will start selling its new Blade with GTX1060 tomorrow OCT/2 .. I think they knew that Apple going to make new designs soon so they thought this is the best time to start selling them.. smart thinking razer

since their laptops design are copied from current MBPs. the design will get old when apple show off the new one..

...holy shiet.

I totally miss this (ah, the booze..)!
How the hell did they manage to put a GTX 1060M (also our number of pages. coincidence?!) with a TDP of 80/100 Watt in that case, slimmer and lighter than the MBP?! o_O
Still, I wonder how much is going to last the battery...

But seriously, now I'm really tempted by it. The addition of the Razer Core is a great plus, too.
If only there wasn't that ugly keyboard...

Imagine if Apple did this for the very next macbook pro's coming in a month or two. At least I coule be able to take comfort in knowing my outrage would be shared by many, many others.
Then in response, some apple exec would pull out the 'courage' line again, and we'd all just shake our heads at the insane asylum Apple Inc. has become ... and walk away.
yes and then in order to use Logic (etc etc),virtualize Osx in some Windows( is it possible, just sayn) version or building an hackintosh

I love how Serban became a living legend in this thread only and once Skylake rMBP is released in October 2019 and we go back into the real world nobody will ever know why this was so funny.
yes but he was always right, thats the problem if you read and see the time frames of everything he said.Probably was under the law of Apple, thats sad

@navaira I love it too.
From a "trustable" source, through derision to legend status.
Serban will live forever, and the next users will question his words, his prophecies and even his existence.
I wonder if anyone would start a religion about him...

/about the new Razer Blade, I knew there was a gyp! It's not available in the Old Continent yet, and who knows when it is going to be... :(

Aside from being a total fraud, was anything Serbian said actually wrong? I thought everything he said was so generalized that it was almost impossible for him to be wrong.

Kind of like a fortune teller: it sounds relevant to you in the moment, but when you step back you realize what was said applies to almost everyone.

Please tell me you're being 150% honest because you are my life this second. Please.

ANSWER ME.

Im sorry I love you.

Hey, I'm calling it as I hear it! I heard the same out of this facility for the Apple Watch announcement video that played as a "one more thing" when it was first showcased. Also have heard plenty of "all we did this time around is Apple Store showcase reels and demo videos for software" and things seem to always line up.

Here I am with my 2013 rMBP in one hand, wallet in the other, 12-core hackintosh strapped to my back eagerly awaiting along with the entire LA production community for a portable mac worth buying.

He had all the dates wrong and he only told stuff which were already posted by news sites.

They can switch between iGPU and dGPU just like the Macs so the 1060 (no M) will not kill the battery. Because it won't be on all the time.

So battery life should be the same as the previous gen Razer Blade. Which stands alongside the Macs and the Dell XPS 15 as the best battery laptops around (that have quad core cpus), as far as I'm aware.

I really believe the Blade is the Windows Mac. Design and build are top notch, even above Dell. Shame they don't sell them on Europe... If I could have one in my country I would instantly buy that 1060 one. Have to rely on Apple as they are the only ones that make good pcs with PT layouts

He had all the dates wrong and he only told stuff which were already posted by news sites.

I dont remember him ever claiming an actual date, and for what it's worth he did predict no WWDC announcement just before he was suspended (only after Gurman said the same, of course).

I know he only repeated others' news and rumors, but none of that has proven to be wrong per se.

as far as i know there are now notebooks with 1060 1070 1080 with optimus
so the nvidia will always run and the battery life is very short compared to an Macbook etc

He actually had a pretty good shtick, claiming he had multiple hardware versions so couldn't say which one would be released. And writing in somewhat fractured English which was never really clear.

Random examples...

i dont know anything about air, just mbp and mac pro. since apple decide to lock in 1 design from 3 since March i guess is 99.9% for WWDC announcement. We don't know about the shipments quantities if they are ready for masses since June etc

Resume:
-since we are on MBP topic....Apple is thinking, since they don't make an presentation like last year for ipad pro and apple tv to add for iphone event the Macbook Pro with Apple display to that event and release the MacOS and iOS at the same time.
-From my personal taste and point of view this will be a big software WWDC. I love where they are going..
Tb3 confirmed, that oled display is confirmed , they managed to offer around 10h for both of them
-There no longer be one colour for the macbook pro, 32 gb ram confirmed

there will be a mac At the event (WWDC)

He changed his mind/posts to fall after KGI man report was released which said Q4

Ok, but that doesn't explain how Razer were capable to to fit ≃75 Watt dGPU in that slim body!
:D
I mean, MBP is thicker, almost the same processor, yet Apple set a limit of ≃50W for the dGPU.
How is the Razer Blade engineered to sustain such amount of power?!
And why Apple is not able to?
I'm honestly curious!

Yep, complete and utter fraud. Not sure why these groupies are popping out now to defend him.

Because he was The_Truth!

We carry the Serban's predictions as our torch, with them we destroy the shadows!

Nobody is defending Serban (despite sarcasm), but it's important to understand how people like him work. I forgot (read: wasn't paying much attention) he made WWDC predictions saying they would show the MBP. I had already written him off long before, so I just skipped over those things.

But many did believe him, and still believe the liars who come here and other rumor forums.

For instance, within the last 24 hours we had someone here claim they work for an ad agency that "does the colors" for Apple ads. Maybe true? Sure, whatever, but my BS alarms started going crazy when I read that. It doesn't pass the smell test. Why would Apple create ads then turn them over to (and pay) another agency to tweak the colors?

It's important to point out this stuff because people start having unrealistic expectations from obvious liars. I hope we could have saved a few of these folks the misery they caused thrmselves, but far too many here play into the Serbans of the world.
