But based on that logic, it's ALWAYS going to be 'less likely' as each day passes until the day arrives. It's not like Apple is going to come out and say, we're going to tell you about this invite that we plan on sending out in the future.

Can you stop whining now the invites are out or do you need to see Tim Cook Macbook Pro in hand ?
£100 extra is bearable given the circumstances.
256GB is enough for me based on my current usage, but I will probably take 512GB just in case I need to dedicate some space to a Boot Camp installation later on.
Of course. I'd suggest watching Youtube in 4K even with a 1080p monitor. They give 4K video a lot more bandwith so it looks a lot better scaled down to 1080p than youtube's 1080p stream. Watching 1080p youtube on 5K iMac full screen is borderline unusable beacause the bandwith is so low and that screen shows all the nastyness of the compression.Luckily i still have 1 kidney left to offer, im ready 15" with dGpu.
Btw, since i never have any macbook previously, does current 15" macbook pro allow me to watch youtube videos in 4k format? Since the resolution is not 4k thanks
The current rMBP can't take 2 SSDs and I don't think the new one will either.Yeah that's why I want to install a second SSD when the time comes.
Realistically how long would it take an average person to learn Sierra 1 months, 2 months? I will for sure install Windows 7 just in case battery life suffers I might have to learn how to use OS X a bit?
EasilyYou guys think my cable will make it?
This, my dear friends, i call commitment. You guys think my cable will make it?

For all we know Apple may solder the SSD this time!
I'm really looking forward to the eventual iFixit teardown.
I believe they are interchangeable terms, my friend.*discrete GPU
You sound like someone who bought a 2015 model this yearYou lot won't like the Macs and say they are ****, talking about how the 2012-2015 design is better, you heard it here first folks.
I doubt they would solder the SSD on, makes it rather impractical as that would create extra variants of the logic board, unless it has been done on previous Macbooks so feel free to correct me if I am wrong. An m.2 slot is pretty sufficient and doesn't really take that much space on a custom board.Yeah that will be very interesting, there is no device these guys and girls can 't fix very impressive. But a soldered SSD would suck what if the SSD goes bad? Anyhow next week will be interesting
no. stop. You lot won't like the Macs and say they are ****, talking about how the 2012-2015 design is better, you heard it here first folks.
