I just wish space grey stays. please. that's all I want. I just went to Best Buy and found the gold on the 12in gaudy. what do you guys think about the gold color on a macbook?

I think it's okay on the 12", but though I've never seen it on the 15", it seems a bit much. It's okay on an iPad or Phone because it's only the back that's colored gold. But with a laptop, the whole freakin' thing is gold and it does seem a bit gaudy, especially for a bigger one.

I hope that rumor about silver and space gray being the options is true. I'll take space gray then.

I find it interesting that they brought it back with the 12" MB and are going to bring it back completely with the new pro's.

Interestingly, I had to buy a replacement bottom for my 15" rMBP online(pretty affordable at $40 and 100% indistinguishable from my original other than the lack of MBP branding) because you can't replace the feet. Now, my rMBP has zero branding.

Good to know we get Touch ID for sure. A few of the chinese reports on here said it might not have made it to the final design.

I like the bezels. not too much, not too little.

I also like that the speakers are on the sides. on the rMB, the keyboard went literally to the edge of the chassis, so if you wanted to hold it from the side while it was open, you'd be typing everywhere.

Apple almost never seems to impress with bezels. Almost all competing 5.5-inch display smartphones are smaller in size than the iPhone, the iPad still has big bezels, as does the iMac - it's almost like it's part of their design language.

That hinge looks really thin. Bezels aren't that bad but not exactly what I hoped for. Fn key or escape??

And is the TouchID behind the screen like the rumored iPhone 8 or is the Magic Toolbar cut at the end just to have the TouchID sensor there?

Shaking and crying, as people from my favourite music forum would say. Interesting that the TouchID button is sort of separate-but-not-really. Can't wait to see this in real life.
