feeling disappointed with those bezels .... feels like there is more space being used by bezels than the screen itself....

what were you expecting then? a dell xps type bezels? I personally find the bezels to strike a good medium between what we have now and the dell. with the dell try to open the lid without leaving smudges on the leds (the actual display part). it's practically impossible. with the new MacBook Pro there is enough space for you to leave your smudges on the bezel away from the leds.

Also if the bezel is too much smaller, then expect a wimpier webcam (and remember all the backlash about the 12" 480p webcam). I don't want the webcam to be significantly worse than the front-cams on the i-devices.

that's definitely the 13in. unless Apple made the keyboard giant.

They've changed the design then, the 13 inch doesnt currently have the speaker grills running along the edge of the keyboard.

Apple almost never seems to impress with bezels. Almost all competing 5.5-inch display smartphones are smaller in size than the iPhone, the iPad still has big bezels, as does the iMac - it's almost like it's part of their design language.

Bezel's have their uses, especially on mobile devices. I'd much rather have something to hold onto.

Also, I think Dell's bezel design on the XPS line is vastly overrated. It has that hideous and monstrous bottom bezel with the webcam in the worst spot possible. I'd much rather have the much more even bezel design of the MacBooks.

If you zoom in you can see that the Touch ID part is separate from the magic toolbar. so I'd presume that it's a button.

Indeed, that there is a "MacBook Pro" at the bottom of the bezel also suggests that whoever created this is using new device mockup assets. So this is what we are going to see on Thursday.

My #1 hope is they won't write 'MacBook Pro' under the screen. I think they wanted to on the current rMBP but couldn't for technical reasons.

I thought there was absolutely no way they would add it back. I was wrong.
