Looks fine (as expected). Will be incredibly disappointed if there's no matte black or space grey color choice though. Really tired of silver.

Love how clean it has looked for the past 3+ years with this one. To me, adding it back feels like the equivalent of the "SAMSUNG" logo on the front of their flagship phones.
Most likely these assets aren't going to cover all color options available and aren't the be-all-end-all for this. By that same logic, there's no 15-inch MBP either!It seems only silver by the looks of it
Maybe the butterfly keyboard v2.0 is better than the one in Macbook. It may also have slightly more travel room and possible as good or better than the current keyboard. Lets reserve judgement on that after we play with it.

Oh, sure. I just thought there would be no way they'd add it at all, since they redesigned the desktop keyboard with the Magic Keyboard.
Agreed. But then I don't like the backlit logo on the lid either. It's not like *I* can see it, so its main purpose is so that people in Starbucks can see I'm a proper hipster who can afford a Mac.
As for Samsung, I bought protective glass for my S7 that covers the logo.

Apple mostly uses the silver model for instructions / online documentation. I would NOT read too much into this.

Wow, incredible find. The keyboard is disappointing, hopefully this iteration is better than on the Macbook.
Maybe when in any menu a swipe from left to right would up the brightness at the left half of the magic toolbar and the right half for volume.
This probably has been discussed at length already, but how do you think will the replacement of the FN keys with the 'magic toolbar' work?
I constantly use this key row to change brightness, volume and key-backlight.
If the 'magic toolbar' is now app-sensitive, does that mean I cannot change my volume, brightness etc. anymore when I have a program open that uses the 'magic toolbar' space for app-specific options?

im guessing they will have to release software updates for say iTunes, photos, etc to use the magic toolbar functions? hopefully on thursday so they work on day one when you get the new device.
