I have the same, and it was a great choice.
tbh, i slightly regret not having choosen the matte option, but my budget at that time was already being stretched to the limit :)

I am so nervous about today that I actually had a hard time falling asleep because I kept thinking things like - "what if I get run over by a car? What if a brick falls on my head and I die before I see the new mbp?" Like who cares about family right? 10 hours left guys, I can't believe it

22 new pages?

Where am I going to go tomorrow mornig when/if this thread is closed...?

I have been comparing the 13" to the 15" screenwise. It's amazing how much bigger the screen is despite the chassis size not beeing so much different. Right now the current 15" weighs as much as my 13" 2009 mbp. Assuming the new laptops will be even thinner and lighter I will still be on the winning side, even if I Chose the larger mbp. I don't need the dGPU so I'd go for a maxed out 15" rmbp (or whatever they will be called from tonight). If it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, that is. And I still need my liver ;)

Only if you come wrapped in a gift box for me under the tree.

I MEAN ...WHAT.

I'll get right on it ;)

My life will have been lived in vain if I didn't get to experience the Skylake MacBook Pro. Not even kidding. :apple:

Okay, seriously going to bed now. I will post as soon as I wake up though--but I shan't be live-posting during the event as I have Japanese class at 10. Grrr. I will follow the live blog as well as I can in class and then get called on by my professor and answer her question with "32 GB!!!...I mean...can I hear the question again?"

You all better have good trigger fingers because I am ordering minute one. May the best fanatic win.
[doublepost=1477551891][/doublepost]I've got to go to class until 10:10 pst so I won't be able to watch the beginning of the event. But that's the boring part anyway, so I guess I'm not missing much. I'd still like to see the whole thing though.

Well, just finished up work for the night, and have less then 10 hours till the keynote. Going to grab some shut eye, wake up, have breakfast/lunch, and then hide in a little corner till the keynote starts.

For anyone who has used or knows about the American Express 1 year extended coverage, do I have to purchase the MBP and Apple Care together or can I purchase the Apple Care from another provider? Just wanted to clarify before tomorrow.

Ugh, I work close to this store and was hoping I could place an order online and pick it up that day at the union square store. Guess I'll just have it shipped

Apple's Keynote will start at 10., Apple Stores are open at 9. How can it be possible, that Apple has presentation Macbooks ready right after the Keynote? Will they close the store for a short time to get things in place?

How was this done in the past?

I'm guessing they announce tomorrow and release them on Friday. With online orders going up at midnight
