S.i.c.k of the wait!!!!! My applecare no lemon policy is ready!!!

Oh that's right, your current machine is on 2 or 3 strikes already?

I remember getting my 15" replaced at an Apple Store. They tried to give me the 15" without ExpressCard but I mentioned it'd be a feature loss (and showed my expresscard SSD) and was bumped up to the 17".

Very nice, It's been about 5 strikes for this one so far Killawat. I've gotten 2 replacements in my life time in the past. Just be nice to them and ask for a replacement and just have patience and then they give you a new one no questions asked (as long as you have applecare of course). It's funny to me that people who have had the same replacements don't leave their stories all over the internet, it would be interesting for me to hear. Can you share your story Killawat?

I take back my previously stated wish that the Macbook Pro 15" be released in June (in hope for AMD Polaris), I need it fast so I hope for a March release now. I hope Apple employees are taking notes and relay this vital revelation to Tim Cook!

Did everyone see the nMP issues on the front page? More dGPU issues? Really would not be shocked if Apple drops dGPU for next Macbook Pro. Man it's crazy, first the X1600, then the 8600m, my own 330m, the 2011 AMD, etc. And now the nMP.

Again, new watch bands, a new iPad Air and a "budget" iPhone isn't enough to make an event. This seems like something not even worth having an announcement for. The heck is going on?

I'm a little worried about that, because I'll probably buy one of those...I've read people saying that theirs laptops are perfect but I've read even more cases of screen flickering, artefacts and dGPU related errors. And the only solution is to turn off the switching, and use just the dGPU, so more hot and more battery drain...

Apple if will not make a redesign MBP it will update the entire MBP lineup silently. So if until the event we dont see any silent update, probably Apple will announce on stage a re-design MBP

I do not want to suggest anything, but... currently CTO versions of MBP have 14 days wait time. The same as Mac Mini. And Macbook. And Macbook Air. All of new chips for those computers are already available.

Mac Pro and iMac which don't have next gen. chips available yet have 7 days wait time for CTO versions.

Interesting.

Similar thing here, in Poland. Few days ago 13 and 15 inch MBP have had 1-3 business days wait time for CTO versions. Now it slipped to 4-6 days, but I don't believe that system reads it properly here.

Sure?
iPhone is first priority for Apple.
If iPad Air gets a redesign or Pro-capabilities, it will take some stage time, too.
Watch bands... couldn't care less about that ****, but sometimes Apple likes to include half an hour of useless talking about minor things and crappy features. Maybe new Watch OS or something?

As much as I hope for a new MBP at March 15, I'm staying sceptical

I agree about iPhone being one of (if not the) top priority of Apple, but the smaller iPhone using outdated features/specs is hardly going to sell as well as the iPhone main and iPhone Plus line. I don't know what Pro capabilities the iPad Air will get other than the smart connector (I.e. Keyboard) but.. so what? I don't know, maybe my views are biased because I want both a new 12-inch MacBook and a 15-inch MacBook Pro that I see no real interest in this event. :/

I mean I have an Apple Watch and while new bands sounds somewhat nice, meh. I have an iPad Pro so meh to the iPad Air 3, and meh to the small iPhone because I'm using an iPhone 6s Plus.

Maybe it should be called "Apple's Meh-rch event!", with a tag line of "Don't get your hopes high."

Need to change my mid 2010 15" mbp, hope this march rumor is true ...
And if the screen on the 13" is 14" would be great (don't care that much about thinner)

SO SICK OF WAITING FOR MBP!!!!!

there still isn't any news about release date for MBP.... Sigh I hope its not June. Tired of this rumors.

What I want!!

MBP 15 with nvidia Graphics at least GTX 950 and over!
16-32gb ram
longer battery life
500-1tb ssd.

possibly thinner design if it doesn't cause problem for above requirements ;(

Are the Skylake CPU Intel will talk about around GDC going to have likely been reviewed under NDA beforehand?
