So when I read his first post, I did read it as predictions likely just being done tongue in cheek. The second post where he stated "The Apple will still glow. Please stop spreading wrong information on that!" made me think that he was trying to imply he did have inside info. And I'm certainly not the only one who thought he was implying inside confirmation, as the many posts from other members afterwards show. I mean c'mon, one poster straight up asked him what dGPU was going to be in each model as if he knew, and he certainly didn't try to clear up any of the ambiguity himself.
But hey, if he was indeed doing the whole prediction thing as a (somewhat ambiguous) joke, then I agree with you, I was too harsh.
This thread sometimes reminds me of when I was in high-school and my classmates and I are arguing over stuff. Stuff we didn't really know much about but knew just enough to be able to throw in an argument. And if someone would say something stupid he'd be the shamepole of the week

On November 17 my macbook pro 13" 2015 was stolen and it popped up in Pakistan 2 weeks later , since then, luckily after a huge win in a football bet( there is only one game that is played using your feet and a ball ) I got the funds to replace it , I decided to wait for the 2016 model . And I am waiting...... come on Apple I got tired of waiting. Let it be March
As an American myself, I also can't stand American football. Born and raised on Football/Soccer.
I wouldn't say American Football is for ******* though. Being slammed and tackled by a 250lb man of pure muscle is anything but pleasant. In fact, many football players get concussions. I think the Body armor is for good reason.

Still a rumor, but giving that's been confirmed by Gurman, Ming-Chi Kuo and another trustable source (I actually don't remember his name) and that the 15 March it's a Tuesday I believe it's pretty sure.

No idea. I don't watch rugby so I can't comment. However, American Football is one sport I don't want to play even with Armor on.
Even with all that 'armor', you'd be in a hospital for weeks (if you'd even survive) after just a few minutes playing in one of those FOOTBALL games!
This is what happens when we all want a Skylake rMBP, but there is no new info. We keep checking back here looking for new info, don't find it, then get caught up in other comments and veer off topic.
I hope not but its a possibility. I'd rather have decent key travel and better battery life over super thinness.
I'm sure they can make the butterfly keyboard but with a little more key travel because of the additional space in the MacBook Pro
I didn't like one bit, the keyboard which is there in the New Macbook, it causes a lot of spelling mistakes while typing and gives a very unusual feeling while typing, I rather like the tactile feeling of the upwards keys which is currently there in rMBP.
Sure, but what I meant was I would rather them not try to make a crazy thin device and use that space instead for both better battery life and better key travel
Apple can run the dGPU at significantly low clock speeds though. There will be an effect on battery life, but wouldn't bring it down to 3 hours.

I considered it too but that machine is a monster in size and weight. And from what I've heard, it's noisy as hell.
Since when has Apple shown any interest in increasing battery life? ^_^ to them, more battery = less thinness = more weight = double-downside.
