Well, this is my second big MBP waiting thread (waiting for sandy bridge was the first), and I don't feel the grief right now. It could change any moment tho.

Enjoy

Hello again guys.
I'm not drunk anymore.
I did not expect all that love and likes for that post.
Everything it's so funny.
Also, considering that the most liked posts on this thread are just me multiquoting a guy and me saying "i'm drunk I love ya all" is both wonderful and sad for this neverending wait.
I mean, in 292 pages and two and half years, the most pleasant news was "I'm drunk".
Apple, this maybe should make you seriously think about your lacks.

Anyway, still loving all you guys.

So what was the last time that the macbook pro 13" and 15" get an update?

Smart question.
According to Wikipedia,

MBP 13"
"On March 9, 2015, with Intel Broadwell processors, Iris 6100 graphics, 100 percent faster flash storage, increased battery life, and the Force Touch trackpad."
MBP 15"
"On May 19, 2015, with similarly fast flash storage, increased battery life, the Force Touch trackpad, and an AMD Radeon R9 discrete (crappy) graphics card on the higher-end model."

But, if we consider the 15" by the CPU side:

"On October 22, 2013, Apple updated the line with Intel's Haswell processors and Iris Graphics, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Thunderbolt 2, and PCIe-based flash storage."

So 17 months ago.
Wow, I just noticed that this thread came to life just 4 days after that. How optimist was the thread starter...
