In before new MBPs are announced followed by an "April Fools!" from Apple on April 1st.
The only one that will come until wwdc is the silent update for the macbookJust bought a used 2015 15inch base model (no scratches, dents, <100 cycle, applecare till august) on ebay for $1400. Bought Just in case the new mbp doesn't get announced by may. I Can definitely resell it for original price within the next 3 months if the new ones come out.
I just bought a new 2015 15" 2.5/512/AMD GPU for $2,000 on eBay. Planning to resell it for ~$1,800 in the next 3 mo as well if new ones do come out. Upgraded from a 2012, definitely worth the potential loss.Just bought a used 2015 15inch base model (no scratches, dents, <100 cycle, applecare till august) on ebay for $1400. No, it was historyI missed that, safari was literally going crazy for me and when I clicked the keynote link it went to a pop-up. 3 times that happened. UPDATE: I just watched it, 40 years in 40 seconds. It was stupid!

Indeed, it was very nice to see. At that moment, I thought Apple finally knows what's important (Macs). I was really excited at that moment. I was euphorically, especially when the presentation went very fast. I thought there will be a 'one more thing'. To bad it wasn'tNo, it was history
i was glad no mac was updated, because that means a good and polish macbook pro will come. i prefer the QA team have the time to do their job and better at WWDC. I've really been thinking about the 12" MacBook lately, more specifically what Apple will carry over for the next gen of MBPs. Particularly going from 2 fans to 1 fan in the 15" models, with the discontinuation of a dGPU.
With Skylake apparently being so energy efficient + packing a respectful iGPU, TB3 eGPU solutions (i.e. Razor Core), and Apple's quest for a super-slim case, I believe it could happen. The only exception would be the upcoming 14nm GPUs from AMD/Nvidia that would have to blow Intel's Iris Pro out of the water.
Something to think about.
They need to release these updates before June !!
Yup it seems so near yet so far. What if Apple wants to troll us and only updates the rMBP with a higher clocked Haswell [for 15"] or even Broadwell [for 13"].
I doubt it. OLEDS are NOT power efficient on White displays, and most of the internet is white. What do you people think about Apple equipping the new rMBP with OLED technology? Considering that the Apple Watch already has that technology, and the iPhones are expected to launch with that in 2017. Could it be like Force Touch, moving over from the Apple Watch - MacBooks - iPhones?

yes i think inI wish Apple bought back the 17" MBP in Retina form. They can put the iGPU the cheaper model that's already showcased in the Apple configurator, but they can add the 4GB AMD or Nvidia dGPU option for those of who prefer a beefier BTO option. Yes I know that a iGPU has better performance now than it it did a few years ago but I like hearing my two favorite words: "Dedicated Graphics".
not a chance, only if apple will begin using micro-led into iphones than ipads than macs. Micro-led yes, oled noWhat do you people think about Apple equipping the new rMBP with OLED technology?
