"The Keynote and State of the Union promise exciting reveals, providing inspiration and new opportunities to continue creating the most innovative apps in the world."

Okay maybe I'm just overthinking this but... Would they really use the word "reveals" for simply OS previews? And what else can help continue creating the most innovative apps besides a new MacBook Pro refresh? Let's hope.

Inb4 One More Thing...
Thinner Apple Watch bands!

So 15 inch mbp basically confirmed for September/October?

AMD is expected to launch the product stack in mid 2016 (commonly inferred as Computex). However, it does not mean anything about the availability. It could have already been in volume production for a while, so that it would be "immediately available" to the end customers as part of the OEM machines which may launch simultaneously in Computex.

The outdated current gen rMBPs are $300 off MSRP (after coupon) at Best Buy right now. Must resist until June...

Titles are all about software, because it is a software event! Hardware will be announced as a bonus in last 30 minutes or something.
if they will make a hardware event, it must be around 1 hour, to proper introduce the new redesign 13 and 15" MBP, new mac mini, updated mac pro and we hope for a thunderbolt 5k display

Hang in there. If there really is a redesign, I imagine the feeling of having bought a 4-year-old design less than two months before the redesign was announced will be pretty terrible.

unless if the new design is worse. I don't mind Apple going the thinner route with the new MBP (seriously how much thinner can they go without sacrificing batt life/performance?), but I seriously hope they don't remove the signature glowing Apple logo like what they did on the 12" Macbook.

Same, I reallyy want the glowing logo to stay, looks awesome in the dark ahah

glowing logo is just for trademark and show off 100% its not faced to you but to other people.

being lighter and adopt the future of I/O can't be a worse design, so no need for hate

I don't think the new MBPs will be announced at WWDC. I can't find any recent rumors regarding the new MBPs. In the case of the first rMBP (2012) which was the latest full re-design of MBP, there had been a lot of detailed rumors coming out from many sources from a few months before the release.

Oh, for the love of god. What if that design win with Polaris GPU was in fact design win of Nintendo NX console? Which in fact was!

This is exactly WCCFTech at its worst. Clickbait sites.

Hexus/ reports the following:
"
WCCF Tech says that its sources have "confirmed" that AMD has secured a major contract win to supply GPUs to Apple for its desktop and laptop computers. "Both of its upcoming Radeon 400 series 14nm FinFET graphics chips, Polaris 10 and Polaris 11" will be snapped up by Apple to provide its iMacs and MacBooks with energy efficient graphics acceleration, says the source.

Apple computers sell pretty well, with high margins, so AMD could do well out of this deal. No indication was given about when we will see the Polaris GPUs in Apple computers but it will likely be in H2 2016 when Polaris graphics cards are scheduled to launch."

Clickbait or not if it's true AMD won that contract there's a good chance the 2016 rMBP might get something like the R9 M470x ;).

Out of curiosity, why do you people like the glowing logo so much? You open your laptop and then go and watch it from behind? Or is it "everyone at Starbucks must see my Mac" kind of thing?

(This is not sarcasm, I'm genuinely curious.)

for me it's a trademark of the macbooks, since the introduction of the first macbook by steve, and personally I like to apply custom vinyl stickers on the cover like those that have interaction with the logo, adds more personality to my own mac imo

so its clear that apple will not remove the dGPU from 15" CTO MBP.
So i think the big MBP will have a dGPu, the 27" imac too at least 3 variants, i wonder what GPU can be proper for the dual GPU for Mac Pro ?

i can't find anywhere any leak or rumor about the specs for M470x :( you have a link or how it will compare to the current MBP dGPU ?

it will be a worse design if battery life and performance is sacrificed (tho I doubt Apple will do this to their flagship laptop). I'm more worried about thermal management on a thinner chasis. USB-C, I don't mind those, but I hope they keep the SD card slot and give at least 1 USB-A slot, HDMI is a bonus. Basically I hope they just replace the Thunderport on the current macs with USB-C and I'm happy enough.

we'll wait till June and see

you can do that with current MP logo too

battery life will be at least kept as it is, around 10 hours ( i hope for 12 hours but..) all thunderbolt 3 usb-c ports its everything we need...maybe sd card..but it is not meant for mainstream i think there will be adapters for that

What I argue is the validity of their sources. AMD Polaris in MBP is... pretty obvious, but abusing this as "being well informed" is pretty pathetic tactic.
