Hmm so the new MBP may not have a dGPU built in? :(
The iGPU looks decent enough though. If the MBP gets a high-end Intel 6770HQ....Which has an Iris pro 580, that will apparently be good enough to run most modern games at medium settings.

So that's not too bad, and we can just use an external GPU for higher-end gaming :)

*Prays for Thunderbolt 3/USB-C*

like i said we are not allowed to open the proto so we don't have access to see the space inside and see if theres space for a dgpu also. but at this moment all of the 3 are a future proof and will be an instant buy for me replacing my 2013.
I can wait for June to test with the new macOS, i hope they dont mess up the battery and other things

Are we expecting a butterfly keyboard?
Probably yes, but it will be a great keyboard

Future proof eh,

Would about current year / legacy proof?

yes but keep in mind it is in El Capitan in specifics situations for both of them. but again it should be % with the real life usage and current model is with 96% battery life

Question, is the battery estimates based on the 15 or 13 inch?

Why are people listening to this individual? LOL Honest to God...

The reality of it all is we have no legitimate rumors. WWDC is the drop dead date. And the only thing we have are articles like this:

http://www.cnet.com/news/apple-hit-by-huge-drop-in-notebook-shipments/

http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/apples-failure-to-scale

We are all hoping for a refresh, so we might as well wait a little longer to see. If WWDC brings nothing, it's over...

The current trend tells us hope for the best, but prepare for the worst...

Even if it will not happen at WWDC, it will happen later on, based on productions from Intel chips !
100% will happen this year.

Why are you using an Intel chip release to justify your position? I thought you had inside information? Shouldn't you have merely stated you know based on what you have in front of you?

If Serban is in a specific department for testing, how would he know the availability of Intel chips? If you are not content with Serban's posts or information, that is fine, but a lot of us are.

guys, plz i cant always post comments...i already said that until a little time ago, intel chips used for these had a lot of issues. in other department we heard that the ports for external monitor/multiple monitors again had some issues, but we didnt have those issue with current ones, so i am guessing they were using January intel chips
[doublepost=1462910088][/doublepost]so im guessing Apple will not provide january-February buggy chips for mass production. So if everything is fine we will see the updates at WWDC
[doublepost=1462910130][/doublepost]i dont know how many these specific chips/day/month can intel made

Serban. Firstly thank you for replying to all the comments.

I wanted to ask if you knew what the weight roughly was for the redesigned 13 rMBP?

Thanks

Man, the desperation in this thread is reaching epic proportions. So much so that I think someone can come on here and pretend to have inside knowledge and people would gobble it right up. Hmmm.
I have a space grey 2016 Mbp here on my desk. Not only does the Apple logo still glow, if you press the new key (next to the power button key), it flashes different colors. If you press the option key and the new key, it ejects a tiny little apple-shaped disco ball.
