I have a space grey 2016 Mbp here on my desk. Not only does the Apple logo still glow, if you press the new key (next to the power button key), it flashes different colors. If you press the option key and the new key, it ejects a tiny little apple-shaped disco ball.
Is the disco ball illuminated?

I quite like the idea of being able to switch the light on the logo on/off.

I'll be getting a silver one.

I really think 3.5mm should be optional. I'll be very disappointed if the music folks get to impose their traditions on us.

I'm getting a bit impatient now I know there is not long to wait but have been considering other options such as a rmb for Web browsing and either an imac or Mac mini and a display for more hardcore work. If the mac mini gets updated at wwdc what chips is it rumoured to have. Would it be more powerful than a redesigned mbp?

SOMEONE MOCK THIS UP

Made from scratch :)

I kinda hope so. I know you could do USB or thunderbolt to HDMI, but HDMI is more convenient.

HDMI? You've missed the whole point of USB-C, right? Folks have been at this for years. And here you are looking for last-minute changes because of the way your brain has developed over the years. Never mind that this road has been well travelled and lots of money invested in USB-C. You'll thank them for it. You probably won't even notice or care. At which point the product/engineering team can pat themselves on the back, put their feet up and have a hot whiskey.

Man, the desperation in this thread is reaching epic proportions. So much so that I think someone can come on here and pretend to have inside knowledge and people would gobble it right up. Hmmm.
According to other people he has been known to have accurate predictions on previous releases on this forum. He's not just a random new account.

Guys when the new MBPs come out are you going to get 8 or 16 gb ram? I want this to last a while but its an extra $200 to get the 16 gb (assuming prices are the same for the new mbps). Is it worth it?

Nope, haven't done that.

I already stated that I knew USB or thunderbolt could serve the same purpose. I simply said HDMI was more convenient since I wouldn't need anything extra to hook up to HDMI devices so long as there was an, extremely common, HDMI cable around.
