Sometimes I think Serban is a valid leak. Then again, he promises leaks/sneaks whatever via pm, which for me looks totally untrust-worthy. But I may be wrong ! Whatsoever .... I hope there will be the new rMBP13(14"?) revealed @WWDC16. So maybe I'll buy me one as christmas present in december.

lets be clear, a sneak peak will be not related 100% sure for a specially product but i guess 2 things will happen
1) a sneak peek indeed for the upcoming MBP since we receive back the final units to begin with the new Macos
2) everything i can hear about WWDC

i mean they will not come with new macs but thanks to this offer will push the old macs to have some buyers
or they will come hand to hand with the new macs to improve overall sales and profit

That is a little worrying as they not that when MBP is announced, there will be orders coming from every corner. Still think we need a person in keynote to chant "Macbook PRO.. Macbook PRO" until Tim responds or the chanter gets kicked out and banned from Apple events (which ever comes first)

TB3 is just a different protocol. You can still do TB2 over a TB3 port, BUT you are probably talking about the USB-C connector?

Apple has launched their back-to-school promotion in the US and presumably will do soon in the UK... but if the MBP isn't launched until Q4, then not only will I be sort of screwed at university, but I'll also miss out on free Beats wireless earphones.

I know pretty much every rumour suggests there will be nothing at WWDC but I may go slightly crazy if they're not announced soon.

Even if (and it's a BIG if...) Serban can give a trustable sneak peak, we're anyway going to know the truth in ten days.

I just don't really understand the mentality in not releasing a brand new laptop for the Back To School promotion. Surely far more people would buy a new laptop in that period knowing that a new one won't come out a couple months later?

The original retina macbook pro was released under the back to school program 4 years ago. Not saying that they'll definitely announce at WWDC, but the back to school program shouldn't worry anyone.
