Noooo. This can't be happening. I thought they would announce new Macs in March. It's June! Waiting until September/October for an update to Skylake is ridiculous... at the very least they should preview MBPs, but it looks like they won't even be doing that then.
Yeah, the idea that they're getting rid of older models for back-to-school and then will update MBP in fall is seeming more likely now.

That's a possibility - "light on new hardware announcements" could allow for a few minutes on MBPs... maybe, possibly, hopefully...
Yeah if they introduce new watch bands (and that's it), that'll be super.
I hope wwdc will be at least exciting, not like the March event, that was just sad.
all I can say is that Apple really managed to screw up this MBP update process. I don't believe it when some people say that the general buyer is not interested in specs - if you buy a machine that is this expensive you at least check what's in it... Imagine the revenue they lost, because of people switching and buying other brands that actually offer up to date hardware (thinking about the 15 inch). If there is no June announcement I will seriously reconsider waiting or buying something else instead... -.- :/
