Presuming there won't be an announcement tomorrow, then we probably have to wait until the September event - which means 94-ish days to go...

I did the countdown to feel better but now that seems like ages away. And we'll probably get to September, only to be told by Gurman that they've actually been delayed until Q3 2042, yet will still come with Skylake.

I still find it hard to believe that they're going to announce new laptops along with new iPhone, and maybe new Mac Mini and Mac Pro and display and iMac and...all at one event.

Which either means the MBPs will be announced in June or other than the iPhone, none of those other things are coming, or the MBPs are delayed even beyond September!

The oled might not be so useless after all.

In that video, the OLED bar doesn't replace the existing top row of the keyboard, so buttons such as volume up and down are always accessible. The rumored new OLED bar replaces the existing function keys. Big difference.

I've already jumped out the ship and built a tower. I'm impressed of how insane fast it goes with M.2 storage (2,2-2,5GB/s reading and 1,5-1,6GB/s writing) and the lastest Skylake i7 6700k. No more noise, no more heat with heavy work, no more RAM limits... Hell, it even works with my both sound cards that didn't work with El Capitan despite having the drivers for 10.11 OSX.
So tomorrow I'll be watching Keynote with curiosity, just in case I want to replace my MBA for one of the new MBPs, but I definitely won't desperate if they don't release it or they mess them up, I'm already half out of OSX.
Do you use Windows, Linux or Hackintosh?

I'm starting to think we'll make it till tomorrow, now!
Three or four months will be a stretch, though... Please, Tim... At least announce with availability later on..

I bet that if there is oled bar it's to replacate the dock on the main screen. And that would be pretty clever and useful. But Fs stay where they are.

Soon to be clear if that bet is right

the tradition being sunday? :p

Nope, tradition of me being drunk the night before an Apple Event :D

Have a drink every time words "magical", "revolutionary" and "amazing" are uttered tomorrow!

(Perhaps ensure first that a liver transplant is waiting for you.)

I was seriously thinking about doing so.
I would probably add a couple more of phrases, like "it's the best we've ever made".
At least it will be a funny event to watch.

Also every time new part of the keynote starts and it's not Macs.

You know Apple could tell the developers about the OLED Touch bar throughout the week of WWDC during various presentations. Then these developers can go and implement their apps and whatnot to this Magic Toolbar and we could have the 2016 MacBook Pro in our hands by September.

That doesn't seem very likely to me, I guess they could release an on screen simulator for dev purposes, but without hardware to test it on I'm skeptical.

Seriously guys? Something like OLED touch bar application should developed and so tested ONLY on an OLED touch bar.

Not even in Microsoft they would think something like this.

So, if this whole thing about the OLED bar is true (and I'm still not 100% sure it is), they will give developers at least an integrated framework or environment to built into.

Im almost certain nothing is coming guys unfortunately.

Is there a chance that kabylake Windows laptops are on the horizon just as Apple updates there MacBook in Q3/4? That would be a blow to Apple, I hear Kabylake has some dramatic improvements, primarily GPU?
