This is actually a pretty good argument FOR the MBP being updated tomorrow.

The most recent major Macbook Pro announcements (2009 13" MBP and 2012 rMBP) have happened at WWDC. The original unibody macbook pro (Oct 2008) was the only recent modern mac to break this pattern. Prior to that most major hardware announcements happened at Macworld in January (which Apple stopped attending I believe after the 2008 MBA release).

Just drawing at straws probably. I'm not even in the market for a new computer. I just want to know NOW!

Has anyone used the 2014 Thinkpad X1 which had similar touchbar? Hopefully Apple's implementation will be more organic.

I think Tim needs to come up with a new catch phrase if there is a surprise at the end. One more thing feels kinda eerie and sort of awkward to hear coming from him.

It worked for the Apple watch. I mean, it did sound kinda forced, but the crowd definitely got the message/impact and acknowledged with a standing ovation. I wouldn't mind a one more thing as long as its truly innovative. Don't "one more thing" for some watch bands or a new minute feature of photos. Maybe a car or the new MacBooks.

Why is it at the Bill Graham Civic Center if it's only about software? Isn't the WWDC Keynote usually in Mosconi West?

It has been historically, but I believe the move is just for logistical reasons. Is there any reason the Bill Graham Civic Center would be more relevant to hardware?

I disagree. If it is something big and new i think they should ALWAYS use this phrase as it reminds us who really made apple.

To my knowledge, there have been hardware announcements during every keynote at the Civic Center!!!

"One less Thing."
"Watch, bands!"
"iHave one Thing to show you."
Okay these are bad... Must be the tension kicking in.

Guys I have an exam week this week, I can't afford it to watch the live stream... (I will though)
Let's hope for new MBP's!

Store usually won't drop this late unless its for a launch period. It can still go down right before the Timnote.
