A lot of features and things like Swift playground which could have come to Mac but haven't. A big statement that they are trying to set a new generation of developers off in an iPad environment.

The Mac has Swift Playground. It's right there in Xcode.

But you were SOOOO sure they were coming in March... and June... :D:D:D Argued with anyone who said otherwise.

I already acknowledged that I was wrong and out of the guessing game about 50 pages ago. You wanna save my initial post but gloss over them later ones, go stalk somewhere else lol.

So I get no laptop in time for college, I currently own no Mac at all, and I have the whole summer with nothing but an iPad and a Windows desktop (that's got a bunch of problems itself). Woe unto me :(

Per The Verge: "According to Apple, the operating system will be compatible with late-2009 and later MacBook and iMac, as well as 2010 and later MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini and MacPro."

LOL I knew it :D Glad I wont buy a macbook anyway now. Probably buying either a 12inch mb, zenbook or if it comes by then 13inch mbp later this year..

Okay back to topic (MBP).

Obviously they will come out with the new macOS. Fall.. may be September or October.
This thread can go on summer holidays.

Question....

Turn on phone. Swipe to the left, and you get the camera. Or Click on icon starring you in the face, and get the camera. So what is so thrilling about this swipe crape that I need. At least Samsung lets you click on the home button twice to get the camera without the phone coming on.

I expected nothing and I was still disappointed...

I'm not even waiting for Skylake but this Midwich Cuckoos flock of disappointees is life-affirming.

seriously, even if they'll release new laptops, whenever it might be, apple is clearly telling us tjat they give no s..t about macOS platform anymore.
even with 4core skylake/32gb/2tb ssd/whatever, what's the sense of investing in a dead end platform?

i seriously need to change my mindset and acknowledge that my next pc will either have windows or linux on it

So WWDC brought software. No-one can be surprised really. Previews of new software to be released with new hardware blah blah blah Apple thanks. That keynote was the worst I have ever witnessed and an absolute waste of time. Easily could've summed it up in 10 mins and still had 5 on Emojis. Where oh where is our favourite company going guys? I'm increasingly concerned at what is happening.
