Ok more seriously... so when the next Apple big Event we could get our hope destroyed?!
September Event?
Or maybe it will be iPhone-centered?

I hope this is a joke. The rMBPs haven't been updated in over year, and for Mac Pro and Mac mini users its even worse. Meanwhile, iPhones, iPads, and Watches have gotten an update at every keynote. What kind of message do you think it sends to a Mac user?
And.... this justifies all the hate comments in the thread?

It's perfectly acceptable for people to rage at Apple and say silly things because they passed the 365 day mark?

Since my 2011 MBP is not compatible with Continuity and I definitely don't care about all of the other features, I'm not even sure if it's worth it for me to upgrade anyways. I think I am going to start looking elsewhere for my computing needs, as well as my smartphone needs.

I hate that they are making a mockery of the company that I know and love.

seriously, even if they'll release new laptops, whenever it might be, apple is clearly telling us tjat they give no s..t about macOS platform anymore.
even with 4core skylake/32gb/2tb ssd/whatever, what's the sense of investing in a dead end platform?

i seriously need to change my mindset and acknowledge that my next pc will either have windows or linux on it

Exactly. No roadmap and a tendency to let product lines languish for a year or years, shutting down dumbing down apps like Aperture and FCP, these things kind of send the message that Apple has little commitment or passion for serving content creators.

I feel like I might as well just go all in and switch to a PC/Adobe for my purposes.

Starving everyone of the older Mac hardware, but conveniently updating the new design rMB? Sounds like a good way to encourage early adoption to me. A very good way!

Do we get Siri?

Disappointing. Now its off to the races. First PC manufactor with a low end Polaris GPU (1040M) or Apple redesign wins my money.

It's over. I buy a nice Linux machine with TB3. Good luck to all the kids learning Swift on the "playground".
Are you kidding. I don't need Swift. I need stable Cloud Services an no gimmicks. Have fun. I'll keep my iPhone 6 for sure. But Apple on the Desktop is over. At least for me.
