The neat thing is that the product that'll be shipped is sitting on some table in Cupertino right now. We just can't have it yet.
I hope they have extremely low MacBook sales, make Apple suffer for what they've done.Do any of you expect some kind of hint in the Q3 earnings report today?
or will we just see a fall in overall sales?
If they have a drop in sales, they most likely expected it. I doubt Apple is caught off guard much by their financial results.I hope they have extremely low MacBook sales, make Apple suffer for what they've done.
On a more serious note, i do expect a drop in sales, maybe a hint indeed, we'll know shortly.
I believe you meant "the three prototypes".Well, the pre-production model is.

Confirmed?!2:17 pm Cook says Apple has incredible products in the pipeline and is very bullish about the company's future.
Aww.2:22 pm Maestri: We faced a very difficult quarter with Macs compared to the year-ago quarter, when we launched a new MacBook Pro and iMac.

Why can't someone ask during the Q&A "Hey Tim what about our damn MacBook Pro's man?"
+1. They're already asking the same about iPhone. Why can't someone ask during the Q&A "Hey Tim what about our damn MacBook Pro's man?"
It's not the answer I want, it's the publicity for such a question. The UBS guy just tried but he got shut down.
Something he doesn't mention is the audience for this which are basically artists that don't want to have their real work devices (wacom) in their backpack .He also said this:
Cook: Our survey shows that half of iPad Pro purchasers are buying them for work. Ultimate upgrade for existing iPad users. Ultimate replacement device for customers switching from PCs.
He still somehow thinks an iPad is the 'ultimate replacement for a pc'. Delusional.
If you're talking about all this "Kaby Lake won't support Windows 7" you should know that it's quite different: Windows 7 will work on Kaby Lake as on pretty much any foreseeable future x86 CPU, it will just not have most of the new features implemented like new power saving modes, new hardware decoders etc in Kaby Lake.when it comes to Kaby Lake this thing has a lot of stupid crap snakes into it for example it will not! work with a non Windows 10 version (FU for that ), with that feature already on board it might at some point also not work without an updated version.
Ah thanks for your clarification very appreciatedIf you're talking about all this "Kaby Lake won't support Windows 7" you should know that it's quite different: Windows 7 will work on Kaby Lake as on pretty much any foreseeable future x86 CPU, it will just not have most of the new features implemented like new power saving modes, new hardware decoders etc in Kaby Lake.
I sold my mid 2010 last month. I'm eager to get some more details to decide between 13 inch and 15 inch screen. There is a lot of cool used ones at Amazon. Why can't someone ask during the Q&A "Hey Tim what about our damn MacBook Pro's man?"

What did he say and what did they respond with? The UBS guy just tried but he got shut down.

Anecdotal but, he's not really wrong. It's obviously not for all users, but for a lot of users, an iPad suits most of their needs.
Apple will release Skylake in September and Dell + Asus will release Kaby Lake...
