lmaooooo... This will all die down a few weeks after the launch! Honestly I feel this is all based on resale at the moment. So many people do not have real jobs and all they do is re sell things, sneakers, hyped clothing, and yip you guessed it, Iphones at this time of the year. Go on ebay or craigs list, it's insane how many people are selling the phones for $1000 over retail. Same crap goes on with Adidas when they do a Yeezy release. I personally don't like the resale BS nonsense, I will wait until my phone gets delivered anywhere from Nov 17th-24th, I have zero desire or time to wait hours, let alone a day on line for a phone that will most likely be extremely easy to grab up a month after the launch.

And honestly who knows, it's already been confirmed that Apple will have stock to the general public on Launch day, crazy enough I got the 1st iphone at Prince street in NYC on launch day at 7pm, and I remember they had a ton of phones in stock when I got there, guess who had no stock and was telling people it would be weeks, if not months before phones would be available, at&t!

this is exactly what apple wants, hype, just pure hype over a phone that will most likely not perform as it should until the 2nd or 3rd software update.

Last time I lined up for something was the iPad 2 I think. The 10 people in front of me and the 10 behind me were all Chinese scalpers.

Every 20 min or so, some guy who looked vaguely boss-like would come and yell at them in Chinese.

For the record, I don’t care if these people were Chinese or French or from Cleveland. They were simply loud and obnoxious and had zero regard for anyone around them.

They had chairs and radios playing Chinese music, and once in a while one of them would take a bathroom break while another held their spot.

They smoked and snorted and horked up spit the entire time, all while yelling to each other at the top of their lungs up and down the line.

After about 2 hours of this, I was approached by some random dude who offered me $100 cash for my place in line. I gladly took it and hightailed it outta there.

Have not since, and will not again, stand in line for an Apple product.

Lol what a story.

Honest question but dumb question🙂 ...how is it possible to line up at an Apple store in the mall when they close? Do you wait outside the mall? I live 15 minutes from Menlo Park but wouldn’t think it’s possible to line up that early.
Yea they start the line outside, somewhere nearest to the Apple entrance. On launch day prior to the store opening they reform the line inside.

I waited in line for the iPhone 6 plus because I didn't preorder in time. I got at my local verizon store around 5:15am. I was #6 in line. We visited and had fun, but I never wanted to wait in line again and not know for sure I'm getting one. iPhone X scheduled for delivery November 3rd thankfully. I was nervous I wouldn't get in on the preorder in time.
