Carrier Want to RESERVE a Verizon phone....

I don't have Verizon account, but want to reserve a Verizon phone to buy in full price. Does Apple.com go thru the verification process for reserving a phone? i.e. need a Verizon account to reserve the phone? Anyone done the reservation route can let me know. Thanks!

I didn't do it for reservation, but when I preordered for pick up it made me go through my Verizon account.

mbpharoh, ya I know they do it for pre-order. I have AT&T, but I always get the Verizon phone, that way I can always sell it to anyone when I change phone. I am hoping that I don't have to have a Verizon account to reserve a Verizon phone.

Dude, I went through all your links and none of them are for RESERVING a phone. They are all about PRE-ORDERING
