Apple

Chatted online and Robert said they have fixed my shipping and it should update in system today, he gave me the alternate tracking number to follow, as of now still says going to California. I did not receive any changes to orders on Apple site but did get email late last night saying they are working on my request , which I don't know what request other than ship my watch LOL.

So far my watch has traveled more than me...
China->Anchorage, AK
Anchorage, AK->Lousisville, KY
Louisville, KY->Harrisburg, PA - At this point return to sender kicked in...
Harrisburg, PA->Louisville, KY
Louisville, KY-> Mather,CA
Mather, CA -> Elk Grove, CA...

Our watches must be part of the Apple Global Elite Traveler Program! What better way to test your supply chain than to send a batch of watches to every distribution center!

So I got an email this morning that changes to my order have been made. Went to apple store and order looks the same. Went onto ups and my original UPS tracking says "We've requested a UPS Proactive Response intercept for this package." So I guess what they are doing is finding the package and intercepting it to send it back to me?

Pretty much exactly the same as mine at this point. I don't know if they are shipping the original back or what. If so that is pretty annoying, because then there really was no reason for this happen to begin with like a recall.

No changes to my order. Looks like our watches are taking a ride together to CA!!! The big unknown is how long they will "sit" in CA for them to figure out what's going on... Let's just hope Apple miraculously gets their sh*$ together and resolves this ASAP!

My rep told me that they got a memo on this issue basically stating that they don't know what happened except that UPS's system f'ed up and that as soon as it gets to Elk Grove, they'll 1-day ship them back out ASAP.

It's a bad sign when customer have to proactively monitor their own orders because Apple (the world's largest corporation) can't or won't proactively notify customer of issues.

I don't mind not receiving the watch but the fact that they charged us and didn't notify us of the issue is unsettling. The best they can do is just repeat what we can clearly see from the tracking info provided by UPS. That's not transparency nor is it great customer service. It reflects poorly on how Apple treats it's early adopters that continually support and evangelize their products.

Mine too...

Just got a call from "Traci" who said they're working diligently on getting my watch turned around to me (once it is returned). I had an online chat with support yesterday and they essentially said the same thing. I'm guessing they've got a bulk list of people they're contacting today because of this issue.

Looks like I dodged the bullet on this one. My watch (delivered yesterday) had the same time stamps as many of you on here, which would lead me to believe it was on the same pallet or truck. I wonder why some got rerouted and some didn't??

Regardless, I got mine and am very happy so far - it's beautiful. Good luck on getting yours reshipped. It'd be nice if they sent it for overnight SATURDAY delivery for you!

Got a call they are sending out a replacement so right now I have a new watch in processing item purgatory with a delivery of JULY!?!?!

I just got the same call. They told me that they're sending a $0 replacement with P1 on shipping, which it sounds like means we will be getting bumped to the front of the line for our replacements. I'm hoping to see movement by Monday or Tuesday. The fact that I've gotten two calls from them today makes me feel like they've recognized the issue and are being proactive.

Call?

You must be in lucky group I have gotten no call or change in my order/tracking update

I just got the call too. I agree that they're obviously getting ahead of this issue but the fact that our delivery date says July and that we've already paid for our watches is a bit disconcerting. That said, I'm "hopeful" that we do get bumped up. Please post if the status of your July order changes.

Haven't heard anything today, I'm kind of over calling them to find useless information out. I'm just going to live through your guys information and hope it arrives next week. :confused:

My original order said that it was going to arrive in mid to late May until it shipped earlier this week, so I'm assuming my reship will say July until it ships - hopefully soon!

Yes. I just got off the phone with my rep and, if I understood her correctly, she said they decided it would be faster to forget the replacements - some of you may have seen replacements added to your order number and then later cancelled - and to find and to overnight back the original watches. So, for one, this does look more like a SNAFU on UPS's part, rather than Apple stealthily trying to recover faulty watches or mixed up orders. She said she hoped to have new tracking numbes as early as tonight or early tomorrow. My impression was that we'll see movement soon so I would not be surprised to receive the watch Tuesday or Wednesday.

For those of you commenting about seeing "July" shipping - the rep said to ignore that. That estimate is from the algorithm that is doing all of the other watch confirmations. Ours is an atypical case. July is just what all of the confirmations are saying now for anyone placing an order. Like I wrote above, I would not be surprised if we all got our watches by midweek next week.

Just went from Processing to Preparing for shipment. Last time it took about 6-7 hours to then go to Shipping and another 1-2 for UPS to create a label and have the tracking number available to track and then maybe another 5 hours for the first departure notice. My God, could I really get this on Monday? :D

Mine just switched as well, Monday seems like a safe bet now.

I still did not receive mine either. Upon further research I realised I did not go through with my initial order. :eek:

FANTASTIC News

My rep just called again. She said they are working with the carrier to ship TONIGHT for delivery on SATURDAY (i.e., she said I should expect to receive it tomorrow). Wow. :D:apple:

Awesome, too bad I shipped mine to an office that will be closed tomorrow!

Just spoke with "Andrew" even though they said my watch got delivered to a dock... it was received and my new watch replacement is moving through the warehouse and should be sent out by tomorrow. Quite the ordeal but looks like Apple is taking this very seriously and trying to remedying it as quick as possible.

Yea, they sent mine FedEx priority over night for Saturday morning delivery. I assume everyone who had this issue will get one by EOD Monday.
